WOYWW #189

Good morning everyone!  It's What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday and I'm here to share my space with you.  If you are curious about this, head over to Julia's blog and have a look around.  Then come join us and feel free to be curious and look around!  We have bared our souls and are showing what we are about!

This is a picture of my side desk; now you see why I seldom show it!  This is where I stack everything I've used or might want to use when I am working on a card.  This keeps my work space somewhat tidy so I don't lose stuff!

And this is my work desk.  I recently purchased a lattice die from Spellbinders and I've been playing with that.  Also been making some little yellow flowers for a card that is in the works.  The red mat on the left is what I use to shape my petals and I also glue on that mat.  Then there is just the usual jumble of "stuff" that needs to be put away.  So there you have it.

We are experiencing lots of rain here in East Tennessee; it has rained for two days and two nights and it's still pouring down outside!  I probably should give up paper crafts and start building a boat!  We even have school closings because of the rain and flooding.  West Tennessee had ice and freezing rain so we are very lucky to be just getting rain.  Well that's it for me this morning.  I'm off to visit as many desks as I can.

Have a wonderful day and I hope you are high and dry!

You look like you have a nice lot of spellbinders on your desk. Love the new die.

No rain here but we did have our first snow of the winter - as far as I am concerned it can be the last. It takes hours to clear out massive driveway :) I think you have a pretty tidy space this week. Me, not so much :) But I too have a satellite table..although it doesn't matter. That, my desk, the floor...all covered.

Stay dray and Happy WOYWW

Nice desk - that lattice die looks yummy! I have to ask, may be the angle of the photo but what IS that big round whitething? Cindy #74

You know I always love viewing your desk, Glenda, as for mine, you would have to come to see me to get a look at it. then I would probably clean it up before you came. It only takes a day for me to really make a mess! Have the best Wednesday ever.

Looks like you are busy with fun projects today! I have a nice table off to the side too that I can stack stuff on to keep my actual workspace as free as possible. Keeps me sane! Hope the sunshine comes out soon! :) Happy WOYWW! Tammy #98

I like being organised as well, Glenda...I really hate wasting time searching for stuff, that's why all my tools etc are always to hand.
It's -6 today in my area, colder again in Scotland. We have more snow due on Friday....yay!

I've been wondering if you were getting the down pours. WOW, hope there is no physical damages to homes etc. We could use SOME rain, we haven't even had snow or ice since before the holidays.
I knew you had to have somearea that consumed your mess!! Or you were a magician. Like the paper and of course the spellbinders. I quit buying them for now..prices went up so much and I haven't been using them like I should.
Enjoy the week, it's 1/2 over.

It's a bit nippy up here in Scotland, and the snow doesn't look like it is going anywhere soon, hope you get some respite from the rain. You appear to have a lot of Spellbinders there! I have a couple that I have never used... should figure out what the sandwich is for the cuttlebug and have a go with them!! LOL Annette #3

You do look very organised Glenda, wish I could be more like that, I lose things all the time..... sorry to hear about the rain, we have had nothing but rain since the Spring and are expecting snow on Friday - but that has got to be better than rain. Happy WOYWW, Anne x #35

awesome looking desk! I see you like spellbinders too! I used to store mine in a little crate too but they began to mess up so I bought some magnetic sheets and a case from Crafters Companion and now they are all nice and neat in their own space. I figured up there is a lot of money in that case! Thanks for popping by my desk and leaving a comment! It means a lot to me! Have a great week. Vickie #43

Super snoop at your desk today with lots going on there. Shame about your weather and it's no better here in NW Egland. We've had so much rain and flooding ( but I missed any problems there) all over and snow is forecast for the weekend... UGH!
lots of love, stay warm and dry,
Jo x

Hi Glenda,

Boy, we could use some of that moisture that you are getting. We've finally gotten a few snowstorms but our water aquifer (sp?) is so low.

Your desks look very nicely organized. That's a great idea to have mats to do certain things on.

Thank you for visiting me already!

Happy WOYWW

Oh I see HC dp on the side desk! Send some rain our way please. Way too dry here, the swamps will be smoldering if we get any lightening storms. Happy WOYWW! Nan 113

It sounds as if everyone is suffering from the wet! At last it seems to have stopped the incessant rain here in the UK and it's got quite a bit colder, but we've had more than enough rain, thank you!! Your two desks look great. I like the new lattice die - did you use it to create the wonderful piece in your next post? Beautiful! I also like the white storage unit on your second table - it looks really useful.

Thanks for your lovely comment. Zentangles are great, aren't they! Quite addictive. So glad you like my new album. Did you scroll down to see my real WOYWW post? That's where the genuine mess is kept lol!

Happy belated WOYWW,

that trellis is a beautiful die, I can see a lot of work for that this year! I love that you have a second table to keep your first table uncluttered!!

Wow love that you have two desks - great die - I am not sharing a desk as away from home looking after my friends cattery but enjoying having a good look around everyone else's desk
