Look What I Found......

I found this gorgeous paper in my scrap bin.  Several years ago I purchased two 12 X 12 sheets of this for scrapbooking.  Since I scrapbook no more, I've used this paper here and there through the years.  The other day I was going through some papers and found this little scrap of the paper.  So I decided to drag out some of my old Spellbinders dies and go to work.  Well I say work, I actually consider this play!  The name of the dies is Sunflower Set 2 and I'm pretty sure it is discontinued, but I'm determined to play with some of the older dies.  There are so many I've only used once or twice and it's time to dust them off and wear them out!  I found some sunny yellow card stock and some Gala Glitz and this pretty flourish and this is what I came up with.

I hope you have had a good week and that you have a great holiday weekend planned!  I will be playing in my craft room this weekend.  I've been working so hard, I think it is time for a good rest!

Glenda, this is beautiful....I've never seen those dies before but I love them and the paper is perfect with them. Hope you also have a great holiday week-end....NASCAR is in town here so we will be staying close to home to avoid all the back ups on the roads.

An absolutely perfect match! The paper and die cuts are great partners, and you've put them together beautifully. As for the weekend, you and I are on the same wavelength - I'm planning to PLAY all weekend too!

These sunflowers are so petty and go beautifully with that piece of design paper. It is good to hear you get to rest and will have time to play this weekend.

Oh Glenda this is gorgeous, I think I just saw that piece of paper the other day while going though my stash for the scrapbook garage sale, now I hope I didn't put it in the sale. This is just wonderful and the color is perfect. I want to play some, but I want to work more on getting organized so I can play all the time.
Hugs,
Gretchen

Don't you just love when you find a "lost treasure"?! This turned out lovely! Sunflowers are a favorite of mine and I've kicked myself repeatedly for not getting these Spellbinders dies while I could!!

Hi Glenda,

Wow - love this card. Aren't sunflowers so stunning in their simplicity. That die is great -- too bad it's discontinued.

Hugs,
Kay

Oh my goodness is this card awesome! Lady - you have such a knack for bringing out treasures and making 'gold' out of them! Love sunflowers anyhow! And I took a look at your garden too - wow, you are really rocking in that joy, aren't you? Watch out for those little white butterflies tho - they lay the eggs that the green caterpillars come from that eat up the cabbage and broccoli leaves. Catch 'em and kill 'em dear! ;)
