WOYWW 116

Happy Wednesday everyone....  Since it is the middle of the week, come join me for a little peek at my workdesk!  Every Wednesday we take a picture of our mess and show it to the world, via Julia's Blog
You can visit her blog by clicking on the link and get all the little details.  This gives you a little insight as to what is going on out there in this great big world.  We get to see other people's spaces and the kind of creative mess they live in.  Mine is not too messy this morning.  I'm just starting to pull out things to start working on another card.  For me this can be hair raising because my actual work space is very tiny.  I have a whole room for my stuff and still wind up actually working in this little area of my desk.  But it works for me.  I'm only showing this one picture this morning because the rest of my room is a total wreck!  I need to spend a whole day and give it a good going over, but not today.  I have more errands to run and some laundry to catch up.  This week is starting out to be quite a busy one for me.

We are beginning to wind down the long hot summer here in East Tennessee...our temps are cooling and you can just tell Fall isn't too far off.  The humming birds have been frantic at the feeder getting ready to head south for the winter.  I will truly miss them this year, as I love to watch their movements and little fights they get into trying to stake a claim on the feeder.  The crickets are getting louder and louder outside my craft room window and that is always a signal to me that summer is not long for here.  I welcome the cooler temps but dread the idea of being couped up in the house all winter.  I am blessed to have windows in front of my desk and I spend hours here every day, returning emails or crafting or just watching the world go by.  Some days as I sit watching the birds, I'm transported to another place and time.  Nothing like a little travel to do a body good!

So I hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday, and that your day is a blessed one.  And if you have the opportunity, take a little trip down memory lane; but for goodness sake, take a moment and "Breathe"!

It's good to read that some parts of country are cooling down. Wish it would happen here. I can dream of travel, too. Especially during the dead of winter. Happy WOYWW from #3 this week.

If its cooling down for you, its warming up for me, YAY!!! so sick of winter.
Your desk looks fab, cleaning should be against the law, its such a futile job. I suppose we have to do it sooner or later.
Happy WOYWW

It feels like autumn in the UK too, there's a definite change in the air! Except it's the swallows leaving for Africa instead of hummingbirds :D xx

I don't think we will ever have enough space to create because it is so important to have everything around you for inspiration. Although looking out of you window sounds like bliss.

Yes the space issue.... the more room I have, the less space I have for some reason.... but we have to have all our things close at hand so hence our space closes in on us... Beautiful view!!!!!!
I'm so looking forward to fall and a break in this HEAT... we too have had the last few days cooler!

I did smile to myself over your post today as your thoughts reflect so many of mine - except we are heading towards summer here and I say bring it on! over winter although not the sort of winters you get thankfully and the doctor said I can go walking again today (yes, thanks LORD - and few other blessings could yell about to today!) so very happy about that - walkies here I come :D
I love your card above and happy WOYWW! Shaz in oz.x

You were really early to post this week, must of been up all night!!
Love the big red cup. I need to get a cup of mojo and get busy. You are right, Fall is in the air and I plan on tiding up my area and get out my fall things. I can use a big change.
Spent sometime yesterday with my sister and she has LOTS of hummingbirds near her patio. Was so fun to watch them (3 different kinds)
Best Wishes, Have Fun on WOYWW

The summer passed us by over here ...think we had one or two days that reached the heady heights of 80 all the other sunny days struggled to reach 70 ...not that I mind as long as its not wet .... but then we have had loads of rain too lol.

Hello Glenda, what a lovely post ... I was quite transported away reading about the birds that visit your feeder. I have a window too and there's a feeder just outside too. No hummingbirds here, how exotic they sound, but recently, I've spotted a change in the birds visiting, the bluetits are back, coaltits, a rare sight indeed, have put in an appearance and our little resident robin's redbreast is much more noticeable - Autumn's here, for sure. And right now it's pouring with rain, after such a sunny start to the day too. Enjoy the rest of your week. Elizabeth x #60

PS: I'd love a bigger craft space too but I'd only fill it with yet more stuff :)

Wonderful way to let go of the mess. Yours is never that messy and I end up cleaning part of mine up! Glad your temps are cooler. I love winter and get out as much as I can! Loved winters in Colorado, only once did I feel like there was too much snow! Have a wonderful day!
