As we begin this day I want to wish everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving. I have so much to be thankful for..... life is good! I have made so many new friends over the past year of blogging that you are too numerous to count! I count friends as treasures and there are many of you out there! I have seen you come to the aid of another blogger who is struggling with cyber gremlins and help her along the way, I've seen you jump to the aid of a fellow blogger who lost a loved one very recently. Such an outpouring of love and support! I can't tell you how glad I am that my life has brought me to this point in my journey and that I was able to meet you all, maybe not in person....but I feel like I know you just the same. I don't have to mention names, you guys know who you are! I have been able to have conversations with ladies I consider so very talented and never expected to be heard, let alone acknowledged!
It is quite amazing how my life took a turn almost a year ago, one that I thought was devastating at the time, and that turn brought me here. Thanks to my wonderful husband, I have been able to follow my dreams. I have been on two design teams and worked with some wonderful talent along the way! I have learned so much from you guys! I guess I just want to say Thank You for helping me along and giving me an opportunity to "Strut My Stuff". I have had so much fun ......Who knew an "Ole Broad" could have so many dreams come true in less than a year! I am truly blessed!
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.....I'll be thinking of you!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY, GLENDA! You are such a lovely blog friend to have. I hope your day is perfect!
Happy Thanksgiving to you too! When things happened in life that seemed to be devastating, my grandmother always said that things always turn out the way they're supposed to in the end. And she was right. I'm so thankful to have gotten to "know" you this year!
And I'll be sending some of my snow your way. 4 inches yesterday, and they're saying another 4 today--I don't need that much snow!
Isn't it grand that one can meet so many new friends while never leaving the house? hehe
I am blessed that I got to "work" with you
Glenda, and I so admire your wonderful talent!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Glenda I agree with Sylvia . . you are such a lovely blogging friend. I love to visit your blog to see what you have to say and to see all your gorgeous projects. I get inspired every time I visit. I'm a day late, but hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Glenda, I have read this entry more than once and wanted to thank you for expressing what I have felt. I had planned to work two more years before retiring and that didn't work out. But, the Lord shuts a door and opens a window and that is what happened to me. I have had the pleasure of getting to know many people through blogging and have been blessed by their friendship. You are one of those lovely friends. Thank you and may the new year bring you many more blessings.
