The Four Seasons Challenge Blog - November - Anything Goes FALL

Good morning friends and welcome to The Four Seasons Challenge Blog for November. As always, Anything Goes and this is the final challenge for FALL!  So gather all your supplies and come join us!  You can post your project here: The Four Seasons Challenge Blog.  The challenge runs from 12:00 AM (EST) on November 1 until 12:00 AM (EST) November 25.  The winner will be announced on November 28.

We have an Inspiration Board for November...This is only for inspiration and you do not have to follow if you have another idea for your project!

We also have a prize for the winner this month supplied by our very generous team member Karen!  It's some very colorful Washi Tape!

My card this month is a Happy Thanksgiving card!  I just love how these pretty orange color flowers turned out,

My card is another slimline card made using mostly Heartfelt Creations products.  The sentiment is from Poppy Stamps and I have had it forever.  The finished dimensions of my card are 3 3/4" X 8 3/4".

Make card base and cover with a piece of design paper.  Next I used die cuts out of gold and white cardstock and glued those to the card front.  The die cuts were two that were cut apart and overlapped to give the illusion of a longer die.   I cut out two different sizes of ovals to hold the sentiment and glued them over the portion of dies that were overlapped.

Now we will work on the flowers...they are super easy.  I used Garden Zinnia stamps and dies from Heartfelt Creations, colored with Archival Tiger Lily ink and cut out with a coordinating die. Leafy Accents Stamps are used to stamp leaves using Fern Green ink, then cut out with coordinating dies. Color using Leaf Green ink.  Use the molds to shape flower petals and leaves and turn out onto the desk to dry. Layer two flower petals and glue together, then add Ribbit Prills to the centers.  I also added some Art Glitterf #85 Crystal to the edges of the petals.  Once everything is dry, decide on placement and hot glue down.

Oh Glenda this is just GORGEOUS! I love your slimline design and those flowers/leaves are amazing! Beautiful design ... a perfect Thanksgiving greeting. I'm sure it will be an added Thanksgiving blessing to the recipient! (I need to get busy making some of these flowers/leaves ... always inspired by yours but never think to make some of my own) ... oh and when I do, I'll make some of those sweet little birds you used so beautifully too! LOL Have a happy day!
