WOYWW#565....

Hello everyone and welcome to my world!  Thankfully it is Wednesday and it seems to be the only day I actually remember in each week.  I have self isolated but did get out yesterday and got a few groceries and visited the pharmacy.  One of the grocery stores in my area is now offering curbside pickup for groceries and I'm very grateful!  So what is happening in your world?  This morning we can visit with each other by way of linking our desks.  Julia is our hostess at Stamping Ground.  We may have to be isolated but we still have each other!

It's more flower making for me.  I sit here and play as I watch the world go by outside my craftroom window.  I'm once again making Calla Lilies and day dreaming about my list of outside chores for when the temps rise.  Spring clean-up time is here in East Tennessee and the Dogwood trees are beginning to bloom as well as some of my early Iris.  That will most likely be my photo for next week.

Well this is it for me this morning as I prepare to begin my day.  Keep well my friends!

Morning Glenda. Those lilies are lovely - you always do have such amazing hand made flowers around you. Well done.
Your grocery store's delivery will be a great help to you in these strange and ever changing times.
Take care. Stay safe. God bless.

Dogwood is only a small shrub in the UK, I wonder if it's the same family as the trees? I shall have to look that up on the interwebs. Your flowers are so lovely as always, the calla lilies are beautiful and I love the fresh greens too.
Keep safe and hope you're ok,

Hi Glenda, I do love the flowers you make, always so many gorgeous ideas. I was only reading yesterday that Wholesale Horticultural growers are really going to struggle to survive, as this is now the start of the Bedding season here, and all garden centres are closed, so they have no orders. Stay safe and have a good week,Hugs, Shaz #7 X

Always love your one gal workshop of flowers. Would love to see your outdoor trees also. We had 2 days of glorious SUNSHINE and now wind. I was out a lot, walked about 1 1/2 miles each day and was a little bit of heaven. It is now raining, but I have plenty of projects to finish and get ready for the mail.
I too love to be home, only been out once for a few groceries, we each had a list, went quickly and out the door. Hoping to do stretches each day. I've big rubber bands and it does help my shoulders and back. Thanks for the visit, Stay Safe and ENJOY !~

Ooh your lilies are gorgeous, I love seeing your different flowers. It's great that you can collect your groceries without getting out of the car - much safer at the moment.
Stay safe and well, and happy flower making,

Yep, me too, got a lot of clean up to do in the garden, just waiting for the weather to come warm again! I’ve started, but the wind is really cold at the moment and it makes my back ache to be kneeling over the beds with the wind hitting me. Old age, I know. I did groceries today and was super impressed by the way the supermarket has adapted; the staff were great and it went ver smoothly, which is a relief, isnt it. Still they had no toilet tissue, facial tissue or kitchen tissue, but there were a couple of packets of rice at last! Loving on your flowers as usual...i have little patience for such makings and so really enjoy it vicariously. Stay well Glenda. Xx

Your Calla Lilies are the only sort I could actually have. I have many allergies and Calla Lilies are by far the worst for me. I love the fact that your blog is called MagPie's Corner, but neither of the birds on your header picture are magpies!

That's a lovely way to spend your days, Glenda.Your flowers are looking beautiful. I'm glad you got out for your bits and pieces. Who would ever thought that going out for something as mundane as shopping could be such an ordeal now. My Hubby goes out for ours, we are only allowed one person per family and he's volunteered. He's still going out to work so does it all while out. Seems to be working so far.
The weather is slowing improving here so have managed to get out in the garden to do a few jobs. Enjoy it when it warms up enough for you.
Take care and enjoy your week

I love calla lilies, Glenda, and yours are beautiful! I am glad you are able to get your groceries OK. I am unable to get delivery slots from Tesco half the time, and my hubby has to brave Sainsbury's to get what we need.

Stay safe and well, and happy belated WOYWW,

I spy calla lilies! You have an enchanting and cozy work space and perfect for spending time there. We did our first online grocery shopping a couple of weeks ago and it was pretty slick! I'm getting another order together. Just drive over there, call, and they bring it out instantly and load your car. I like it!
