Reminisce of days gone by when laughter filled quilting bees were a treasured outing filled with chatter, decadent dainties and a great sense of accomplishment at the end of the day! Little girls admiring beautiful hand-stitched quilts coming together under the direction of the hands of skillful seamstresses, as they imagine the day that they too will learn the secrets of perfect stitching and delicate embroidery. Let your mind wander back the days when pretty hand-stitched blankets lined Grandma’s clothes line, flapping in the breeze as daisies danced gently in the background! Join us as we remember simpler times with the old fashioned Patchwork Daisy Collection! Immerse yourself in designer papers filled with soft and gentle hues reminiscent of purple lavender filled fields, warm sunshine yellows, clear sky blues, and beautiful wildflower pinks. A wonderful array of beautifully detailed cling stamps, along with coordinating dies provide endless “embroidered and quilted” embellishments to adorn all of your handcrafted projects…from dainty daisy florals delicately illustrated, appearing to have been cut from decorative quilt blocks and then hand-stitched, to a wonderful assortment of graceful eyelet trim borders perfectly designed for “finishing” your handcrafted projects! For more tips on creating with the Patchwork Daisy collection, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/v5BEpcSlmoI.
Instructions: My card size is 4 1/4 X 5 1/2". Make card base and cover the inside with a piece of the paper collection. Using the Eyelet Border Basics die cut the front of the card and then stamp using the Hand Stitched Background stamp and white ink.
Stamp the sentiment onto white cardstock using Majestic Violet ink. Cut out using the circle die and then cut a piece of purple cardstock using the scallop circle die. Glue the two pieces together to make a medallion and then use dimensional tape to adhere to the card front.
Stamp the flower petals and leaves with various ink colors and cut out with coordinating dies. Color the leaves with Bamboo Leaves Memento ink and a dauber. Lay the leaves onto the mold, spritz with water and run through the Vagabond 2. Lay them aside to dry. Shape the flower petals and add Prills to the centers. Set aside to dry.
Once everything is dry, decide on placement and use the hot glue to secure.

More cute flowers and papers! I can hardly bear it! Love your design on this. Looks like a front flap. The sentiment is great, too!

This really reminds me of my grandmother's colors. She loved the lavender and yellow combo. Your flowers are gorgeous, pretty paper patterns. Missed last week but making the rounds as catch up. Have a great week. Our good news is a Warm up of 50 here the next few days.
