Inspiration Wednesday with Heartfelt Creations

Good morning friends!  I'm here to share a tag I made using products from  Heartfelt Creations. I love tags and feel they are great tucked down inside a gift bag or they can sometimes become the gift themselves!

For more tips on creating with the flower shaping molds, watch the tutorial at https://youtu.be/FSdPL7nXvQE.
Instructions: Click here to view a larger photo of this project. I made the tag by cutting two 4 X 8" pieces of cardstock. Next I used the banner punch board to cut the V bottom. You can also do this by measuring half of the tag and then measure up 3/4" and cut diagonal to meet at the half way mark. Now glue the two pieces of cardstock together to make the tag. Using two pieces makes it stronger.
Cover the tag with a piece of the paper collection. I chose a green color and edged it with the Memento Bamboo Leaves Ink. At this point I punched a hole in the top center of the tag. I cut a length of seam binding, wet it and scrunched it up. Lay it aside to dry. Once dry tie a bow and using Scor Tape to adhere the tails to the card front. This gives it a ruffled look and keeps it secure as well.
Using Stazon Olive Green Ink, stamp the Holy leaves onto white cardstock. Color with Bamboo Leaves Memento Ink; cut out using the coordinating die. Using Rhubarb Stalk Memento Ink stamp the poinsettia petals onto white cardstock and color with Lady Bug Memento Ink. Use the coordinating die to cut out the petals. Using the 3D Poinsettia Mold lay the petals and leaves inside, spritz with water and run through the Sizzix Vagabond 2. Lay them aside to dry. Once dry add the glitter to the petals and then glue the petals and leaves together to form the flowers. Glue the Prills to the centers and allow to dry.
Using one of the tags die. cut out a ticket from the paper collection. Mat it several times with coordinating pieces of the paper collection and then white cardstock. I edged the mats with Bamboo Leaves Memento Ink. Also use dimensional tape to adhere the top layer to give it a bit more dimension.
Decide on the placement of the flowers and the sign and glue them down. The tag is ready to go.

So beautiful with the lovely paper and those cute little poinsettias. You always add just the perfect touch of sparkle to your flowers, too. Also love the sentiment element. A batch of tags would be a fun gift, I think.

I love your tag Glenda! There’s nothing like the traditional red and green and the shape of your tag is so creative! Love it!

pretty tag and the poinsettias are awesome. I can't even think red/green. Will however start with Fall decor. Weather has settled down, so we can enjoy fall. Happy Week.to You.
