Good morning and welcome to a new Heartfelt Creations Wednesday. We are knee deep into the "Dog Days of Summer" here in East Tennessee and getting to work with snowflakes and sleigh rides has been a welcomed break from the terrible heat! I have two cards to share this morning and I hope you enjoy them as much as I have enjoyed making them!

Instructions:
My card is 5 1/2 X 5 1/2. Make card base and then chose a piece of the paper collection to cover. In my case, I chose a piece that was 6 X 6 and then cut it down to fit. I also fussy cut the center of the card and used Guacamole ink to color the edges. I added some dimensional tape between the cut out window and the clear cardstock to give it a bit of dimension. Next I used tape to adhere the clear cardstock to the back of this window and then I cut out another image from the paper collection to go behind the clear cardstock. I used Distress Ink to color my seam binding to match my flowers and once dry I added it to the window piece. I then taped the window piece to the front of my card. Stamp, emboss, cut out, color and shape the flowers. I added prills to the centers of the poinsettias and dyed my seam binding to match. Cut a little tag from the paper collection and back it with a piece of white cardstock. I used dimensional tape to pop it up just a bit. Now decide where you want the flowers and glue them down and your card is ready.

HCDP1-269 Snow Kissed Paper Collection

Designer Dries Clear Glue
Other Supplies: Spellbinders Standard circles Small, White and Blue Cardstock, Magnets, Pearl Trim, Faded Jeans Distress Ink, hot glue
Instructions:
My card is 5 1/2 X 5 1/2 folded and 5 1/2 X 11 opened up. Cut a piece of cardstock 5 1/2 X 11 and fold in half. Fold the front of the card in half back toward the fold of the card forming a Z. Next cut a piece of cardstock 1 X 11 and fold like you did the base card. Now decide which of the pretty paper you want to use on the panels of your card. At this point decide where you would like your magnets to be to hold the card closed. I used two sets on my card, one on the front fold and one on the band and the back part of the card. Glue down magnets and cover the card and the band with some of the paper. I cut out a pretty snowflake in white and put blue behind it to make it pop. I adhered this to the band using Double Dots. I fussy cut the little bird and glued him to the snowflake and then added the flower center to add a bit of bling to the snowflake. Next I glued down the band and then I added a pearl trim down the front of the card. I also used the snowman die and cut a snowman out of the paper collection. Next stamp the sentiment and the card is ready to go.

beautiful cards, love your bows Glenda
This is such a wonderful card. It just makes me think of home and Christmas's of times gone by. Your work just gets lovelier and lovelier each year!
Beautiful cards, Glenda, that scene is so cute and the new z fold so much fun! Yes, it seems way to hot to be doing Christmas, but you do them well! It is Wednesday again, the days are flying by fast! Have a fun day!
Fantastic card. Loved that fluffy bow.
Two awesome cards, Glenda. Your sleigh card is stunning and your snowman card fun and playful. Love then both. Beautiful designs. Almost the weekend. Have a good one!
OMG these are awesome Glenda! That shadowbox scene would be on my mantle all holiday season long ... beautiful masterpiece! And what a fun fold ... too cute! You are always such an inspiration! Hope you're having a good week ... weather has cooled off a bit the next couple days ... hopefully I can get outside and do some much needed weeding later. HUGS
I feel cool and wintry just looking at these, Glenda! They're both beautiful and fun. I'm really admiring the fold on your snowman card.
