Good morning friends! It's the middle of the week and time for me to show what is going on in my world! Each week we take a photo of our desk and blog about it then link to Julia's blog. I don't have a lot going on this week that I can show, so my desk looks pretty clean.
Hmmmm, I count 6 bottles of glue and three pairs of scissors! Yes, I confess, I'm a hoarder of glue and never feel like I have all I need. As for the scissors, I have one more pair that I use for cutting cloth and ribbon. These black handled ones are for fussy cutting; the yellow handled ones are for general cutting and my Tim Holtz scissors are used for everything! Love them! The board to my right is my Envelope Punch Board by We Are Memory Keepers and I don't know if you can see it or not but that is sitting on my Big Shot. My trusty Grand Calibur bit the dust two days ago. It's one of those things that you use every day and never knew how much until it's gone! The Big Shot is great but I find I have a difficult time trying to cut really intricate dies so I long for my Grand Calibur!
Well folks that is all for me this morning. I'm off to link my blog and start the visits to everyone this morning. I'm sure I'll find something to inspire me!

Oh Glenda...I hate it when the fav piece quits working. But I love my Big Shot and have recently bought a metal like shim/plate that is a miracle worker on intricate dies. If you want I can check later on where I got it (MAYBE)
Pretty BoBunny papers.Enjoying a Beautiful moon here. Really EARLY AM but need to catch a few more winks. (dealing with a neck issue). Happy WOYWW and enjoy fall.
Hi Glenda, I also have three pairs of scissors which get used for everything, whichever come to hand. I just have to keep cleaning and sharpening them! I have a separate pair just for parchment work though. Sorry to hear that your Grand Calibar gave up the ghost. It was clearly well loved and much used. I prefer my Cuttlebug to my GC but am hankering over the Big Shot plus. Have a lovely week. Barb #24
Hi Glenda, I am also a glue hoarder... it's frightening how much glue I think I need! Totally unnecessary! Oops! Great desk photos :) Lyns #9

Looks like you are not alone in the scissor and glue department. I would hate to count all of mine!!!!!!!
You are not alone in the scissor and glue hoarding department. Maybe we should start a support group. #35
Well we are crafters of a heart, Glenda....lots of glue and scissors! My friend uses four dryer sheets when she cuts intricate dies in her big shot. Or Sizzix does have a new metal plate that's spose to work well for those dies. I haven't tried mine yet as i just got it. Just visiting today. I'm almost done purging, unpacking and organizing my craft room. Hugs
We all need lots of scissors and glues in our eternal search for the perfect one.
Hugs, Neet 6 xx
I always have three pair of scissors out, too. One for fussy cutting, one for anything with adhesive on it, and one for everything else. That's not to mention the decorative edge scissors. Adhesives? Yep, got lots of those, too, including all the double sided tapes I use. I finally just got an envelope punch board but haven't used it yet. I know you're going to do something pretty with those papers and butterflies. I love those two colors together.
I see your giving Julia a run for her money on scissors. I have 2 pair of scissors and 3 glues guess that's a full house But I did find a tacky glue with a lid that sits upside down all by itself that was a I WANT THAT buy lol
Ohh and you have an envelope maker too SWEET !!
Happy woyww hugs Nikki 5
I think Regina's suggestion is fun...you need to start a Scissors and Glue Hoarders Anonymous section of WOYWW!!! I'll join, have got six pairs of scissors stashed away but no glue....yet ;-)

Oh my, I totally forgot about Wednesday, Glenda, sorry! Not so messy desk as usual!
Fascinating Glenda! I totally understand the loss of your GC..I felt as if I'd lost a limb when my cuttlebug broke. I replaced it with a Big Shot, have had no difficulties at all...although I do make sure the complicated dies go into the roller at a jaunty angle rather than straight..does that make sense? We are sisters in scissors and glue...one can't have enough!
