White and Gold....

Good morning everyone!  Hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend.  As for me, it was very quiet as usual!

Once again I need to apologize for the lighting of my photo!  My flower is showing up a pretty creamy color when it is actually white.  I went back over to my photo tent and took a look and to the eye it looks white and everything matches but for some reason my camera likes to see it as cream...or maybe it's the lighting that isn't quite right, or maybe it's a combination of both. Anyway the real star of the show is the die work on the card.  It is a white card base and gold die cut from Anna Griffin Fretwork and the white piece is from Sue Wilson's Caribbean Island Collection (St Barts).  I have become a huge fan of Sue Wilson dies and will be using them more on my cards in the near future.

Thanks for stopping by...I always look forward to your visits!

Superb card, Magpie, and so know what you mean with colours photographed. It's different textures that photograph differently I have come to conclusion. I did a card last week, and when photographed the ribbon, a vlevet one looks so wrong for the background with gelatos.
Oh and made another card over the weekend with your die, and I LOVE it!!! I knew it looked great but wow not know how great till cut it from good quality linen card.. And interestingly it is a white and gold card too :)
Thanks again dear kind friend.

I will let you know whe blog it. Have quite few cards in wings as not much time to post. Doing winter garden jobs, they will take weeks, or month or so. Then I can rest for few months ;) from gardening...

Beautiful card and flower, Glenda, love the gold panel. As for the photo color, the light is picking up the gold and it will look cream, if you notice the card stock looks off white as well! If you get it to look white, then the gold will not look gold. I love the gold overlay! Happy Monday!

This is just gorgeous, Glenda! Aren't dies amazing? How did we ever get by without them? Loving the Sue Wilson dies, too, and that Anna Griffin is no slouch, either. Funny about the whites. Has to be a texture thing. The white card stock looks white, but the flower looks cream. Still utterly gorgeous.
