WOYWW #299

Good morning everyone and welcome to our weekly WOYWW get together!  If you would like to join us, head over to Julia's blog and she will have the information you need to get you started.  Every Wednesday I take a photo of my space and blog about it then link it to Julia's blog.  Once you do that then you can join in all the fun and visit everyone's desk and see what they have going on.

I missed last week because of a very nasty bug and this was going on outside my window.  I was too sick to enjoy but the ice on everything was so beautiful.  It was also dangerous.  Mother Nature can be treacherous at times.

Then yesterday we had another little bit of snow on top of what was left from this one.  We received another 3-4 inches before it moved on.  Bella and I went for a little walk in the snow and she loves it!  She is two and this is really the first snow she has gotten to experience.

Now back to business...here is my desk this morning.

As you can see it's quite a mess there this morning.  I have several ideas floating around in my head at this time and it's about to get really muddled!  I need to focus on one thing at a time and get it done!  This crazy bit of this and that and nothing concrete is making me a little crazy this morning.  Right now I would like to put something in this small frame and use in my living room.  There are actually two of these frames and I just need to settle for something.  The pretty flowers in the background were printed off the internet and I'm thinking "paper toile".  Then the card with the die cut lying on the top of it is going to wind up being a birthday card.....I think.  The pretty lace just needs to be put away and the same goes for all the inks and seed beads, etc.  Just a bit of a mess right now and it totally is what I'm feeling in my head right now!  When I get like this, it is better for me to pick one and go with it and shuffle the rest off to the side for another day.

Now I'm off to visit your blogs and say a quick hello.  Have a good day and stay warm wherever you are!

That is a cute little frame. You are going to put a photo in it or some hand crafted art? That die cut is gorgeous too..I am sure the birthday card will be beautiful when it is done :) Shel-PaperOcotilloStudio @51

Fantastic pictures, so beautiful. We have lots of snow on the hills we see out of the kitchen window.
Luckily it's not down here in the valley.
Loving the look of what you have created so far with that pretty frame.
Hugs

The gorgeous lace just makes your whole desk seem so pretty and ladylike. Love it! But I don't love the snow--it was fun for a day or two...but now, I'm just over it! Happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh #48

The rectangular frame is lovely - enjoy making the card with it. Hope your head clears and you manage to get everything done. I reckon snow does that to a brain - really fogs it up. Maybe we should be hibernating? What do you reckon??
Take care. God bless.

The snow looks nice, but I know it would be cold so glad it is yours Glenda, and not my view. Your desk looks wonderful with all the pieces just waiting to come together! Happy Wednesday!

I can relate to what you're saying about having too many irons in the fire. You've got some very pretty things laid out there, though. Gorgeous scene outside your window! Nice to have a cozy home in weather like that.

I feel like you at the moment, too many ideas floating around and not enough time! I love that lace and the card, so pretty...the frame is lovely too. You'll find something to fit in there.
Sorry to hear you've been poorly, there's some nasty bugs doing the rounds at the moment. My poor hubby has had proper flu and felt as if he'd been run over by a bus :-(

Whatever you decide on, just enjoy playing. I find mojo comes and goes, and it's easier to give in and go with the flow, rather than try to make things happen. It certainly looks cold in your neck of the woods, and I hope you feel better very soon. Hugs, Chris # 21

I got a little behind doing other things but I've now been able to sit down and read what you have been up to.
What a lovely snowy picture! Snow is so pretty (as long as you don't have to travel through it...)
The card with the die cut is going to make someone a very pretty card. It's beautiful. And I'm looking forward to see what you decide to put in the frame.
Nice to see your little Bella experiencing the snow for the first time.
Have a good week,
