WOYWW #264

Good morning everyone and welcome to Wednesday and WOYWW!  Each Wednesday we all get together and take a photo of our space and blog about it and then we link up over at Julia's blog.  Once you have done that, the best blog hop ever happens.  I love visiting all the wonderfully talented people and see what they have going on in their worlds.  I sometimes miss a week and feel like I have totally been disconnected.  It suddenly becomes a habit that is very hard to break!  So come join us and show us your space!

I'm in between projects at this time and have some things I need to put away.  I found my little punch that I am going to use to make flower centers.  I think I purchased it a year or so ago and used it once.  It went into the black hole and I totally forgot about it.  I was rummaging through a drawer this morning and low and behold there it was!  It was like running into an old friend!  So it is now out on my desk so I can see it for a few days!  Then maybe I can remember it.

Also lying there are my Tim Holtz scissors, some yellow ribbon, my flower stamen in the jar.  Also my Tim Holtz paper distresser.

So that's it for me this morning.  I'm off to visit as many desks as I can.  Have a great Wednesday!

Hi Glenda, you are absolutely right about missing a week, very disconcerting, and I am probably going to be MIA next week.
It is fun isn't it to find things that you had forgotten you had. Look forward to seeing what you make with it, and those edge dies you commented about on your visit to my blog.
Thanks for calling

Hello Glenda, a lot of nice things there. Love the idea of keeping the stamens in a "jar" off to do that.
I have that punch and did the same as you, rummaged out the other day. Look forward to seeing the flowers you come up with.
Hugs

I love that little starburst punch you have - what a great idea to use it for the flowers! You know--I just can't miss a week either. I don't know what we'll all do if Julia decides not to do this anymore! Happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh #50

Hi Glenda,

I know what you mean about missing a week (or two). I'm a mess when I miss and sometimes pop in just to see what's going on.

The desk and organization is going extremely slow; someone needs to light a fire under me!

The punch looks very interesting; I wonder if you could use it for snowflakes too?

Thank you for visiting me already.
Happy WOYWW

I must say the flower stamens look really pretty in the jar - but I'm glad I wasn't the one who had to arrange them with their pearly heads at the sides of the jar! Like the serendipity with the punch...now you're really going to get your money's worth of use!

Hey Girl. I can't wait to see the flowers you make with those stamen. I love finding tools I had forgotten about. #4

Hi Glenda, I love to have as many of my punches and stamps on show, otherwise I forget what I have. Glad you found that punch.

I love the fact that I have my weekly kick up the butt to get my WOYWW done:)

By the way, your number has changed from 56 to 55. Mine had changed as well.

Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier.

Happy WOYWW.

Hi Glenda, thanks for your nice comment about my snails, I was worried pete might just think I am peculiar ... Which would be true! That little stamp looks really cool, what make is it please? One of the hazards of WOYWWing is that it always makes me want stuff! :) happy crafting, Annie C #54

I love that little punch, it must have popped up to remind you to use it. If I put anything down on my desk, there's a good chance it will disappear for months! I like your little jar of flower stamens too, so neat and cute.
Have a great week,

Hi Glenda, happy WOYWW and thanks for visiting my desk. Don't we all do that, put things away and then they're forgotten about or we can't remember where they were safely stashed - recently found my half circle punch...Cheers and have a great week RobynO#29

Thanks for the visit. It's always fun to sort and find "Old" forgotten things. Happy for you. I'm still looking for my patriotic decor for my grapevine tree and it must have left the farm. Frustrating. Have a fun weekend.

Hello Glenda. I do like that little punch - and the colours on that paper stack are so gentle - and I'm going to say - gracious! Can imagine something oldie worldie, the days of large picnic hampers, slow moving life.
Have a great week. Sorry I haven't been in any if the CHAC recently - still spending most hours of each day caring for John. The time will come when I can join in again!

Hi Glenda, love the punch, don't think I have seen that one before.
I try to organise my stash but sometimes just can't find things and then realise I have walked past it several times Lol!

Thank you for visiting me! That's a cute punch. Good thing you found it again. I am quite pleased when I find something that I've misplaced. It's like having something new without having to spend for it!
Happy WOYWW!
