Monday Morning........

Have you noticed all my pictures of Bella have been with me standing over her and she is having to look up.  The thing is, she never stops!  If I get on her level, which takes me a little bit, she is all over me.  I can't sit her up on anything because that is a recipe for disaster when I take my hand away to snap the picture.  I have to be truthful here......I really didn't realize what I was doing when I got this little one.  It's like having a two year old in the  house.  Those of you who have raised children know what I'm talking about.  If she can't find anything to get into.....she will torment Maggie.  Luckily I remember about tuning them out.  They can bark and growl and run and as long as neither one is screaming, I just keep on doing my own thing.  But she has wiggled  her way right into my heart and even Maggie has grown to love her.  Every morning first thing, Maggie makes Bella sit still long enough so she can wash Bella's face.  It's really quite funny to watch and to see Bella afterward with her little wet face.

If you were to pass any of my doors or windows you might hear me talking to my girls or just laughing out loud at something Bella has done.  She likes to run and slide on the hardwood floors and her favorite toy is a tiny baby sock purchased for an older dog that was sliding on the hardwood.

So I guess I'm saying that although Bella is quite a responsibility, I love her very much and my house would be way too quiet without her.  And I think if Maggie could talk she would tell you the same thing.  They are becoming quite good buddies and where you see one you see the other.  And to think I worried about the transition.

Well that is it for me this morning.  I hope you have a great Monday!  If you don't feel cheerful this morning just scroll back up and have another look at that face!  It makes me smile every time!

I'm so happy to hear about Bella and Maggie! A puppy is certainly a handful, and your little girl is probably quite the wiggle worm. So cute about Maggie washing Bella's face! I hope I'm retired by the time we get our next puppy. Getting up in the middle of the night to take them outside is not fun when you have to get up at 6:00 in the morning. Enjoy!

This is such good news!! I'm so glad Maggie is being taken in by Bella's charm.... You made me smile while I read about talking to them and how you can tune them out... that's what I'm learning to do with my Belle she a little bigger than your babies but for a beagle she is a true sweety...
Thanks for the kind words on my blog too!!
