WOYWW #199

Happy WOYWW everyone!  I have been absent for a few weeks; life was all in my way.  I've been super busy with projects and right in the middle of everything both my Yorkies got sick.  My Maggie was found to have an enlarged heart and she had fluid on her lungs.  She is doing well and her outlook is good for several more years.  They found the heart disease early.  My Abby girl got sick and was gone in three days.  I'm still reeling from the loss.  She was in stage 4 kidney failure and nothing to be done.  I'm doing better but it was very difficult for me.  We are now looking for a new puppy so Maggie won't get too set in her ways.    My desk is pretty neat today.  I actually cleaned it a little yesterday.  I took the picture late in the afternoon yesterday.  I have been looking back at some projects I have done in the past.  doing a write up for each project is very helpful as I tend to forget what I did.  Well that does it for me this morning.  If you would like to play along with us just head over to Julia's blog she has a place for you to learn all about this little bit of madness.  You just take a picture, post it on your blog and then go to Julia's blog and link back to your blog.  When you do this you can visit so many wonderful desks and see what everyone has going on.  You make new friends along the way too.  Then suddenly you are a part of something wonderful!

What a lovely tidy desk. Mine does not look like that even when I have tidied up as I did earlier this morning and then mucked up again in two minutes.
Sorry to hear about Abby. I can share your feelings as I was terrible when I lost my little Oliver and when I lost my cats. Take care.
Thanks for visiting me - Happy Easter and Happy WOYWW - Hugs, Neet xx 1

So sorry to hear about your dog.

It's a good idea to write up what you did with your projects, we may have to get a notebook and start that as by the time we come to blog we often forget all the steps.

Waving hi from the bears @#96 this week.

So sorry to hear your sad news. A new puppy won't replace your Abby, but hopefully it will make the pain f loss a little tiny bit less. Hang in there.

Aw Glenda, so sorry to read about Abby, what a shocking time you've had. I'm very much with you on recording methods for making stuff that you've liked, it really helps. And of course, you get so immersed in what you're writing that you can think of little else for a while and that has to be good for you right now. xx

So sad to hear about Abbie. What a shock. Our furry friends do take a strong hold on our hearts, and always stay there until we meet them in the future at the Rainbow Bridge. Hope Maggie enjoys having another young pup to play with. Hope your weather starts to improve soon. We so need Spring to start. xx Maggie #17

So sorry about your girls....that is so hard, especially when there is nothing to be done. Thankfully Maggie will be with you for many years to come. It's just so annoying when as you say, life get all in our way. Hope the coming weeks are a little less busy!! I do love seeing how many of us are set up in front of our windows....I love seeing what's going in nature!!
