WOYWW #331

Good morning friends!  Wednesday has rolled around again and it is time to show you what is on my workdesk this morning!  If you are interested in becoming one of us just hop over to Julia's blog and have a look around.  She has all the details listed there.  We would love to have you come join us!

I had to make a trip to Hobby Lobby yesterday to purchase some blades for my paper trimmer and came away with just a few little things.  Some pretty white floral picks that I envision cut apart and glittered to add to a card front for Christmas and a little bit of lace.  All the rest here on my desk is left over from another project.  Oh did you see my brand new Teal Grand Calibur?  I'm so happy to have this little lady sitting here.  My old one gave up the ghost last week and it had to go out in the trash.  I had used it every day for several years in my crafting life.  It was a work horse, so when it died, I couldn't really whine about it.  I started looking for the best price and shipping and think I found it so here it is, brand new with nice clean cutting plates!  I'm hoping this one lasts for a good long time!

Well that's it for me this morning.  I'm off to visit as many of you as I can!

Oh well done - I knew it wouldn't be long before you had to replace the GC..it's quite amazing how much work they do, and if your last one died and you felt it had done good service, that's really ok! I agree about the little picks, they'll be gorgeous in your hands.

Fingers crossed Rowena Raspberry is still going strong here. I took her to the show last weekend but my boss said I could use hers with mine being the wrong colour so I got to play with the teal one - like it!
Love your Hobby Lobby purchases - hopefully will be able to get a trip there when I next visit in the new year

Good for You...always fun to get something you need. Love the color teal too.
Enjoy. I also made a trip to HL after our get together. SO lucky I found several things all on sale and should be able to use some of them today. On line can provide good prices and no travel. Have a fun WOYWW and enjoy playing with the new little items.

It's an undeniable fact that you can't visit a craft shop and leave with just what you went in to buy ... there are just too many temptations between the door and the cash desk :) Those picks look perfect for Christmas card embellishments. Congratulations on the new Grand Calibur ... may you enjoy long and happy service from it. Wishing you a great week. Elizabeth x #35

Well done for getting a new machine! You deserve it as you've used the old one so much.
Have a good week and thanks for visiting already,

I still have my original pink GC and it's going strong. Love the teal. Looks like they redesigned it a little bit. I know you'll do beautiful things with those picks. I can never come home with just one thing!

Those Christmas berries are very pretty and I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with them. Love the teal colour of your Grand Calibur - my Big Shot is black and bright pink - I can't stand it but it does the job - the teal is classy!
Have a great week and thanks for the earlier visit!

Oooo I anticipate seeing some gorgeous holiday pretties in the near future! What a great idea to tear these holiday berry picks apart and use them individually! Congrats on your pretty new Grand Calibur! Happy Crafting Day! Sisterhood DT mate Terri is coming over to craft today ... should be fun!

Hi Glenda!
I've missed visiting and am hoping to turn my life around! haaa I love the color of your new toy. It sounds as if your last one lasted FOREVER. I bet you got your money's worth - isn't that nice when that happens.

I'm hoping to join in the WOYWW fun next week!
