What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday #334

Good morning friends and welcome to another WOYWW post!   I love Wednesday because I get to visit so many desks all around the world.  If you are curious about this blog hop just go over to Julia's blog and have a look around. Julia is our weekly hostess and the creator of this great get together of crafty people.  Come join in and become one of us!  Julia has all the rules and regulations listed on her blog.

There is not a lot going on here this morning.  I actually was doing a clean up when I realized I should go ahead and take a picture of my desk for today's post. I have been using the "push back" method and it was either put things away or have it fall behind my desk.  So before that happened and I had to go down on my hands and knees and crawl up under my desk and try and fish  things out of the black hole, I decided to clean a bit.  There is still a bit out but I do have space to work if I want to.  I've started a new mini album for one of my neighbors for Christmas and this is just the beginning of that.  I'm actually working on the front cover and need to make some poinsettia flowers and snowflakes to decorate this space.  I'm using traditional colors for this album and it will be tucked down inside a basket with cookies and candies.

I have spray glue and liquid glue, tape runner, Martha Stewart Snowflake punch and 3 different tubs of glitter.  I apply glitter daily to my face and eyebrows...I think it is definitely a beauty treatment.  The package in the front is extra large hook and eyes from Dritz for making the closure on my mini!

That's it for me.  It seems I keep getting longer and longer winded and Julia I apologize!

how lovely of you to make such a thoughtful gift for your neighbors.
I also just cleaned my desk and collaged all the things I found on my desk and even got on my hands and knees to pick up of the floor :-)

Good Morning Glitter Gal. Funny how that sparkle makes us so young looking !
With this new carpet coming I've been on my knees a lot. I love the look of an empty room.Your mini album sounds fun, enjoy the process. Speaking of cookies, I need to get a few batches done for Halloween. I usually make Ginger for my nephew, he's close by and helps me in time of need ! (moving things) !~
Our weather's turning on us...almost ready. Have a wonderful day and enjoy some WOYWW visits.

Oh, Glenda. I SO agree - who needs all those expensive beauty aids when we have glitter? Sounds like a lovely Christmas gift is the making there - enjoy the making and the giving.
Thanks for visiting - only another 30 boxes to go....
Take care. God bless.

Your push back method seems to work for a clean desk, mine went from push back to pile on top and the result is I need to clean off went to...I must clean off if I am to work here today! Hope you get back to your crafting soon, Glenda! Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Hi, just visiting. Thanks for the tip on what you use to close mini albums! I was wondering what else I could use. Since I don't sew I would not have thought about hook n eye closures. Have a wonderful week. Hugs

Everyone has to have a tidy up occasionally so you are forgiven. Hope we get to see the mini album when it's finished. Have a great week and happy woyww, Angela x 14.

Ahhh we have so much in common....we use the push it back out of the way method of clearing desks, sometimes with some of it falling out of the way. We make mini albums for friends for Christmas and we both wear glitter. I can always end up with glitter even when it has been months since I last used it!
