Instructions:
Watch this video https://youtu.be/Pnu_xqlx060 for shaping tips and techniques with the Sunrise Lily flower.

My card size is 6 X 6.  Make card base and cover with a piece of the paper collection. Next I stamped the palm tree and colored the fronds with Memento ink.  I cut these fronds and used as leaves to go behind my flowers. Next I stamped, cut out and colored the flower petals.  I then shaped the stamen and added glue then dipped them into the pollen.  Set them aside to dry.  I sprayed the back of the flowers with water and then shaped them and set them aside to dry. Once dry I glued the stamen into the middle of the petals and then added the glitter to the edges.  Decide on the placement of the flowers and fronds and hot glue them down onto the front of the card.  Now go back to the paper collection and pick a coordinating piece of paper and stamp the sentiment on it.  Cut this out and add dimensional tape to the back to pop it up a bit and adhere it. Your card is finished!

Heartfelt Creations Wednesday - Hang in There Tag

Good morning everyone!  It's Wednesday once again and I'm here to share another Heartfelt Creations project.  This week I decided to make you a tag. Those of you who know me, know how much I love tags.  They are little works of art and can be a stand alone gift or can be slipped down inside a gift bag along with a small gift for someone special in your life.  I spend just as much time on making a tag as I do when I make a card so I can't say they are any quicker or easier to make but I just love them.

Other Supplies: Tag, Canson Watercolor Paper, Walnut Stain Distress Ink, Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers in 071 Flesh, 072 Beige, 028 Pale Pink, 026 Light Pink and 050 Yellow, Water Brush, Scor-Tape, Dimensional Tape, White Seam Binding, Green Cardstock

Instructions:
My Tag is 4 X 8 1/2.  Pick a piece of the paper collection and distress the edges then glue to the tag.  I used some of the Bamboo Leaves to go around the edges of the tag before I added the paper.  Stamp, cut out and color the palm tree, monkeys, the banana and the flowers.  Decide where they look the best on your tag and glue them down.  I cut the sentiment out of the paper and backed it with a piece of green cardstock to make a sign.  I used the dimension tape to adhere it to the top of the tag.  Next I cut a piece of white seam binding and sprayed it with water then I rubbed the Rhubarb Stalk ink onto my craft mat and then swirled the seam binding through.  When it achieved the color I wanted, I scrunched it up and laid it aside to dry.  Once dry I tied the bow and used Scor-Tape and glue to hold it down.  Next I tied a piece of the colored seam binding in the hole at the top.

My card is 5 X 7.  Make card base and cover with a piece of the paper collection that has been edged with Memento Bamboo Leaves Ink.  Stamp, cut out and color the palm trees and then add glitter to the fronds.  Set aside to dry.  Next stamp the monkeys, cut them out and color. Add the two palm trees using dimensional tape to pop them up a bit.  Swing the hammock between the two trees using more of the dimensional tape.  Use more of the dimensional tape for the two monkeys at the base of the palm tree.   Stamp, cut out and color the swinging monkeys and glue them down in the tree tops.  Next I cut out the sentiment and use dimensional tape to adhere it to the other palm tree.  I sort of cocked it up to make it look like it had been nailed onto the tree truck at an angle. The card is finished!

My finished card is 4 1/4 X 5 1/2.  Make card base and cover with a piece of the paper collection and then pick one of the card fronts and glue that to the base as well.  This gives you a pretty colored edge to your card.  Next stamp, cut out, and shape the flowers and leaves.  The flowers and the dove are cut from the watercolor paper and the leaves are all stamped and cut out on a piece of the paper collection.   I used the Dove Blender Pen and London Fog Memento ink to add some color to the dove.  Next I added some glitter to the dove and set it aside to dry.  Now use the Dove Blender Pen and add just a touch of Rhubarb Stalk color to the edges of the flower petals just for a bit more definition.  I took the prills and rubbed some across the Guacamole ColorBox ink just to give them a little darker color.  I’m sort of OCD about the shades of things when I’m working with flowers.  Add these Prills to the centers of the flowers and set aside to dry. Next glue down the body of the dove and leave the tail feathers sticking up a bit. Place your flowers and leaves all around the dove and glue them down.  I cut out the little tag that says Faith from the paper collection and used dimensional tape to adhere it to the front, then I glued the half pearl on the edge of it.  Your card is finished.
