Instructions:

Watch this video https://youtu.be/Z8P070kC3oo to learn how to create dimensional roses with the Classic Rose Collection.

My card is 5 1/2 X 5 1/2.  Make card base and cover with a piece of the paper collection that has the sides distressed.  Stamp, cut out and color flowers and leaves.  Shape the roses and glue the petals to form a flower and set aside to dry. Shape the leaves and decide where you want them to sit on the card front.  I used hot glue to attach the leaves and vines and then I hot glued the roses on top of the vines.  The piece of the paper collection I chose already had the sentiment on it so it is really a quick and easy card to finish.

That's it for me this morning.  Be sure and come back on Wednesday for Another Heartfelt Creations Wednesday!

Instructions:
Watch this video https://youtu.be/Z8P070kC3oo to learn how to create dimensional roses with the Classic Rose Collection.

My card is 6 X 6.  Make card base and cover with a piece of the paper collection. Next I cut a piece of the chipboard lattice from Creative Embellishments to fit down one side of my card front.  I painted it with the white paint and set aside to dry.  Once dry I glued it to the side of my card.  Stamp, cut out, the flower petals and leaves then color using the weathered wood and bundled sage distress inks.  I then used the Distress Glaze to seal the color.  This keeps the color from running when I wet the flower petals and shape.  Once the petals are shaped, set them aside to dry.  Next add the half pearls to the smaller flowers. It is time to begin placing the flowers and leaves where you want them to lie on the card front.  I stamped the sentiment with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and then used the Spellbinders die to cut it out. While the sentiment was still in the die, I added some weathered wood ink through the cut outs of the die. I used the double dots to pop it up and add dimension to the sentiment.  Add a gold half pearl to the sentiment piece and the card is finished.

That's it for me I have another card that I will share with you on Monday of next week. You can visit the Heartfelt Creations Blog here. I just know that you will be inspired.  I'm really enjoying the Blushing Rose stamps, dies and papers!

WOYWW #386...

Good morning everyone!  It has been a good long while since I have posted here and I'm ashamed that I haven't done better.  My design team posts on Wednesday and I can't seem to keep my little ducks in a row to be able to have something to post. Each Wednesday we get together and take a photo of our desk and link it on Julia's blog for What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday.   I've also been working in the yard trying to get everything ready for Fall. We have been in drought conditions and there is a lot of dead limbs and stuff to clear off.  The leaves are falling and today I mowed to mulch them.  I don't rake anymore but the leaves are good for the soil.  By Spring they are rotted down into the ground and all is well.

This afternoon this is what is on my desk.  As you can see there isn't any crafting going on.  Bella has decided she loves to sit here and watch the birds outside while I catch up on computer work.

Next I have a little project I just finished for my desk in the living room.  I decorated a lantern with Fall foliage and ribbon.  I watched a video on YouTube and got the idea.  I went to the Dollar Tree where everything is...you guessed it...a dollar and bought the leaves and florals.  The swag can be taken off and another one for another season can be attached.  Next will be Christmas and then in the Spring another one will appear.  I just thought it was a great idea without too much fuss!

Well that's it for me this morning.  I'm off to visit as many of you as I can!

More From Heartfelt Creations....Blushing Rose Collection

Here is the second project I made for last week for Heartfelt Creations.  I'm in love with the Blushing Rose Collection.  The stamps, dies and papers are just wonderful and such a joy to work with and these roses just speak to me!

Heartfelt Creations Products Used and Products Carried in Their Shop:
HCPC-3757 Blushing Rose Background Cling Stamps
HCPC-3755 Blushing Rose Stem Cling Stamp
HCD1-7113 Blushing Rose Stem Die
HCDP1-271 Blushing Rose Paper Collection
HCDP1-270 Classic Rose Paper Collection
HCD1-762 Decorative Oval Die
Bamboo Leaves and New Sprout Memento Ink
Dove Blender Pen
Designer Dries Clear Glue

Other Supplies:  Spellbinders Standard Circles Large and Small, White Cardstock, Purple Cardstock, Canson Watercolor Paper, Gold Embossing Powder, Dusty Concord Distress Ink, 6mm Half Pearls, Scor-Tape, White Seam Binding, Dimensional Tape

Instructions:
My tag measures 4 X 6 1/2.  Make the tag using watercolor paper for strength. Cover with a piece of the Blushing Rose Paper Collection.  Next I stamped and embossed the Blushing Rose Background Cling Stamp and then set the tag aside while I worked on the other elements.  I dyed a piece of the seam binding using Dusty Concord Distress Ink and set it aside to dry.  Next I used the circle dies to cut out a frame using purple and white cardstock.  I used a circle piece of paper from the Classic Rose paper collection to go behind my circle for contrast.  Cut out the Decorative Oval and then use one of the circle dies to make it fit my frame.  Now glue all layers of the frame together and let dry.  Once dry I added the half pearls and glued them down.  I stamped and cut out the roses and leaves and colored it with Memento Ink on the leaves and Distress Ink for the rosebuds. The Dove Blender Pen works wonderfully for this.  I used dimensional tape behind the roses and mounted it to the circle piece.  I also used dimensional tape to apply the circle piece to my tag.  Next tie the bow and adhere to the bottom of the tag.

I love making tags as they can be given as a stand alone gift or slipped down into a gift bag with a gift for a friend.  It just gives a little bit of extra love from you to them!

Watch this video https://youtu.be/Z8P070kC3oo to learn how to create dimensional roses with the Classic Rose Collection.

My card measures 4 1/4 X 5 1/2.  Make card base using purple cardstock.  Cover with one of the card fronts from the gorgeous papers.  Next stamp the vines and use distress inks and a brush to color in the leaves.  Allow to dry and use the matching die to cut out.  Apply this to the bottom of the card front and let dry.  Next I stamped the flower petals and cut them out using the matching die.  Color the tips with Dusty Concord ink and then use the Distress Glaze over that to set the color.  Now you can wet the petals and shape and when they are dry you can glue them to form the roses.  I used hot glue to glue the rose and the rosebuds to the bottom of the card.  Next I chose my sentiment and stamped it on white cardstock and cut out using the die.  Then I cut out the base piece for the sentiment using purple cardstock.  Use dimensional tape to give this sentiment dimension.

A Quick and Easy Pocket Card...

Good morning friends.  I'm here to share this quick and easy pocket card that is just perfect for sending a note or a check or a gift card.  I will probably be using this for a quick birthday card and send along a gift card slipped down inside the pocket.  The tag will have a hand written note wishing them a very Happy Birthday.

I used white cardstock and the Heartfelt Creations Everyday Heroes paper collection.  The sentiment and the tag were part of the collection and all you have to do is cut them out.  So again the paper collection does all the heavy lifting. This makes such a quick card and works great for young men.

Also on October 15th. and 16th. Heartfelt Creations will be at The Smoky Mountain Rubber Stamp and Scrapbook Getaway 2016!  Sevierville Convention Center - 202 Gists Creek Road, Sevierville, TN  37876.  I went last year and I'm so excited to get to go back again this year.  If you would love to see demonstrations and wonderful products plan to go.  Maybe I will see you there!

Scor-Pal

Other Supplies Used:  Victorian Velvet and Vintage Photo Distress Inks, White Cardstock, Rich Cocoa Memento Ink, Dimensional Tape, Tim Holtz Distressing Tool, Tim Holtz Idea-ology Knob, Canson Watercolor Paper

My card is 6 X 6.  Make card base using watercolor paper and then cover it with a piece of the paper collection.  I dampened the edges of the paper and used the distressing tool to curl the edges.  Stamp and cut out the gate and used Vintage Photo and Victorian Velvet to color in a bit.  Then cut the gate so it will open and I used the Scor Pal to score it so it would swing wide. I cut a second gate and lined the inside of the gate so it would be more finished.  Now glue the gate onto the card front using dimensional Tape and glue.  I stamped and cut out the wreath and colored with inks.  I adhered it to the gate with dimensional tape.  Next poke a hole in the gate and install the knob.  Now find the pretty lady on the paper collection and fussy cut then apply with dimensional tape so that is what you see when you open the gate. I also put some leaves on the back side of the gate.  It was colored with New Sprout and Bamboo Leaves Memento Ink.   I picked out the sentiment tag from the paper and used the Luggage and Tags Die to cut it out.  I used dimensional tape to adhere to the front of the card.
