April Showers.....

Good morning everyone! It's time once again for a new challenge at The Sisterhood of Crafters!  I'm so excited to be here this morning as this is my very first challenge with this design team!

Today's challenge is hosted by Terri and it is Anything To Do With Rain.... raindrops, raincoat, umbrella, rain boots, etc.

My card has a umbrella done with Parchment Craft and colored on the back with markers.  I tied a little bow to grace the handle and made flowers and leaves to match my umbrella. The little poem is printed from the Internet onto my card stock.

Now get busy and make your creation and share with us at The Sisterhood. You can also check out what the other designers are sharing as well!  I'm sure you will be inspired!

Supply List:
Parchment Paper from my Hoard
Markers (pink and brown)
Pink ribbon
HCPC 3651 Botanical Rose (Heartfelt Creations)
HCDI-758 Botanical Wings (Heartfelt Creations)
White Embossing Powder
White Flat Back Pearls Colored with Pink Marker
Blue and White Card Stock

I will also enter the following challenges with my card:

So sweet! I love the flowers tucked under the umbrella! What a fun challenge. I will have to see if I have time to drag out all my rain and umbrella stamps and dies to play along!

Hi Glenda,

What a beautiful card. We definitely need some April showers here. What an interesting idea to paint on the back of the vellum. All of your cards are so pretty.

Thanks for visiting me. I know I've been MIA for a while.

Hugs,
Kay

What a pretty card to illustrate April showers, Glenda! Thank you for your lovely supportive comments during my stay in hospital. It is lovely to be home again, and my convalescence is going well, although it willl be a long slow haul. My hubby and I are adjusting to our "new normal" with the stoma bag which is proving a lot less freaky than I'd feared. Lots of lovely messages from so many people still awaiting replies! After that I hope to update my blogs with alll news.
