What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday #292

Good morning everyone from a cold and frigid East Tennessee.  We are a brisk 24 degrees this morning and the forecast for this evening and overnight is for temps in the single digits!  Brrr...Winter has arrived!

This morning I'm here to share what my desk looks like this morning.  I took this photo as I was finishing up yesterday afternoon and it looks the same this morning.  If you have a curiosity about WOYWW you can head over to Julia's Blog and have a look around.  Julia hosts this world wide blog hop each Wednesday and I love being a part of it.  I'm totally addicted to peeping in on everyone each Wednesday and love to see what you all are doing with your creative side!

First, notice the sun is shining outdoors!  I'm so happy to have had that for a day or so; it just helps my attitude.

I am working on a winter banner for my closet of shame and I'm not quite ready to share yet so I'm sorry but I turned it over .  I will share that the Spellbinders die in the photo is the focal point of each banner and the banner will say "Winter".  The rest is going to be finished in a couple of days and I will share with you then.  The rest is just a general collection of things that really need to be put away.  There are some bottles of spray color that I haven't opened yet, a roll of dimensional tape and some Scor-Tape. My plan is to continue decorating the banner and have it finished so I can move on.

Well that's it for me this morning.  I've shown you my mess, now show me yours!  Join us and become a member of the WOYWW group!

'closet of shame'??? You HAVE TO tell us more about that next week! I can't even start to image what that could be! Lovely sunshine seeping in through the window, though I quite like gloomy days myself (as long as it doesn't rain too much). weird, I know! everybody tells me so! What a fun banner this will be, Glenda, and I love the semi busy desk! that is right, if my desk looked this good half the time, I might actually get something done! Glad to know you are warm and having fun today! Happy Wednesday...the days are already flying!

Thanks for visiting Betsy and me this week, and the lovely comment.

The banner makings look interesting, with GDs that are really into the Disney "Frozen" movie, I've made a LOT of winter banners for birthdays......grin Looking forward to seeing your finished project.

Closet of shame?????? Oh DO TELL!!

Hi Glenda,

Yikes. Our temperatures have drastically dropped here too. Not only that but snow. We are still in a drought unfortunately. You are such a tease (banner). I bet it will come out great!

Thanks for visiting me already. I will definitely put your name in the hat for the calendar.

Happy WOYWW
Peace, Kay (61)

Ooooh, I can't wait to see! Brrrr, Glenda! It was a high of 64 here today. Sunny and pretty. Rich washed my car and the dogs played outside while I played in my stamp room. A good day!

Thanks so much for calling in on me this morning. I would like to see signs of Spring and am hoping Winter will be behind us soon here [not that we have really had much snow at all] but it never fails to make me smile seeing all the different seasons going on round the world on these blogs :-)
Hugs,

Sunshine - whatever the temperature, is good for the soul...ongoing dreary-ness makes me low. I bet your banner is a symphony of whites and frosts and swirls, I already know it's gorgeous! I have to smile when you say other bits are just waiting to be put away....story of my entire desk!

Looks just fascinating and predict your beautiful flowers will appear. Making six pieces of banner for winter would be like making six cards I think. Every blessing. Shaz in Oz.x ♡ #24

A-N-T-I-C-I-P-A-T-I-O-N! Oooo can't wait to see the finished project ... going to be fabulous I'm sure! Yep the sun is shining here today (certainly does warm the soul) but the temperatures are ridiculously cold! Wind chills are something like -25 ... Brrrrr!
Stay warm ... stay crafting ... and stay happy! That is my motto for today!
HUGS to you ...

Oh you tease! Reading through the comments, I'm not the only one that doesn't know what a 'closet of shame' is. I'm dying to know! But the banner looks gorgeous even from the back! That die is really pretty. Looking forward to the reveal.
Have a great week,

Closet of shame? Hmmm Can't wait to hear the details. Thanks for visiting my blog. You commented on my bag and said you don't have anywhere to go to need one. Mine is strictly for keeping items contained beside me on the couch. I don't craft away from home either. Creative Blessings! Kelly #53
