WOYWW # 279

I'm here this morning with head bowed, asking for forgiveness.  I have very little to show for myself for the week so far and my desk is very boring I'm afraid.  I've had a painter in the house doing my ceilings and I had to put so much away so he could do the craft room and I've just been sitting here this morning admiring his handiwork.  Now I would not even begin to show you a photo of clean, stark white ceilings but I have say I am really enjoying looking at this one for sure.  So please forgive me for my clean desk and I promise to share a mess next week!

This is just showing some leftover supplies that I didn't get put away but there is nothing in process to show you at all. Also my little white shelf holds lots of inks and glues that I use most often.   I suppose I should consider this a mini vacation, but somehow I don't feel rested so we won't go there.

Now if you are wondering why I'm showing you this photo this morning, It's because of the worldwide blog hop sponsored by Julia.  Just click on her name and you can be taken away to her blog and you can see what all the commotion is about!  I love visiting all the desks each week and seeing what everyone has going on in their world.  We are a generation of talented people loving showing off our messes.  But sometimes there has to be a mess in order to accomplish something wonderful.  There is nothing like inky fingers and bits of paper and card stock and metal and paint, etc. to get your heart to pumping.

OK, that's it for me this morning.  I'm off to visit as many desks as I can before it is time to move along.

I completely understand your pleasure about the newly painted ceiling! It must look so clean and fresh :-)
It's fun to see all those glues and inks on your desk anyway! Do you use them all or do you have favourites?

I am open to anyone cleaning my ceilings and painting, gosh i would even feed them too and give them a bed until it is all done. I am getting the roof on the house fixed at the moment, long story. I wish my desk was messy maybe tomorrow with Judy this can happen.

Hopefully you can have a productive creative week.

Happy WOYWW

well rats! I am well and truly envious now of the clean fresh painted ceilings. I was changing linen in the guest bed and looked up to see a water spot on the ceiling near the window...guess roof and painting are in my future too now! Thanks for sharing and have a great week. Vickie #25

You probably feel really good in your newly painted ceiling room. And most everything put away. Probably hate to mess it up! ;) I am like you, in that I like to keep my most used supplies handy. Makes things go smoother if you don't have to look for those things you will use the most. Happy WOYWW! Thank you for stopping by earlier. #28

Reading about your ceiling I feel ashamed about mine. But still you visited my desk, saw my craftroom and posted a nice comment. So thank you very much. I'm glad to have a craft room so I'm not moaning about the ceiling.
Enjoy your little break from crafting and I hope your creative juices will flow again and the mojo is back in full swing next week!
Happy WOYWW!

I get the newly painted ceiling thing. I still walk into my cleaned room and just stare. You might not have a project to share but you sure have a lot of goodies to look at. Enjoy your break and clean paint.
Have a great week.

I NEVER seem to look up, hence all the cobwebs I now notice, thanks to you :) I often have a desk full of needing to be filed supplies and sometimes it's fun to challenge myself to create from JUST what is left on my desk. One of my favourite layouts is one I made from stuff I found n the bottom of my crop bag and one sheet of cardstock to build it on, :)

I would be ecstatic to stare at clean white painted ceilings! I could even be persuaded to tidy up if someone would volunteer to do the painting (not me though) :)
Have a good week,

Hi Glenda,

I would love the get my ceilings painted. But oh the mess and putting things away keeps it off my radar. I'd also like to put hard wood flooring on my stairs and bedroom but the thought of emptying my room sends shivers down my spine!

Luckily I do HAVE insurance on my phone and will be getting a new one today! Yay.

Thank you for visiting me already!
Happy belated WOYWW
