Welcome to Friday.......

Good morning everyone and welcome to Friday...  When I was working, Friday was a big deal...now...not so much.  Being retired I just putter right along and do my work when I want and I don't have to work around a work schedule.  Lately I have been working so hard trying to get the yard and garden whipped into shape and my days and weeks have all just run together.  Each year I get slower and slower and the weeds get faster and faster.  Thankfully, the garden is ready to go.  I have planted some cabbage plants and have other plants ready to go for when the weather breaks and the ground dries. I have a pretty good space for growing veggies and love to dig in the dirt!  It's very good for me to be outside and the exercise is wonderful for me.  I work a bit and sit a bit.  I have a yard chair sitting under the apple trees and there seems to always be a breeze close by so I have a wonderful place to sit and rest.  When the cool breeze hits my face, it's like a kiss from an angel!

This morning I'm here to  share a card I made using my new Spellbinders dies:  Card Creator A2 Valiant Honor dies.  These are wonderful...they do all the heavy lifting for my card.  All I had to do was make this sweet little flower and leaves and my card is ready to go.  How easy is that. Spellbinders has always been near and dear to my heart, but they have just earned a new place of honor on my desk.  These new dies from CHA are just amazing and I'm so happy to have them.  I will be sharing more with you along the way.

Pretty neat, huh?  This set is so intricate...just love it!  The flower and leaves are made by me and tinted with a little distress ink to match the purple card stock.   Hope you enjoy!

Have a great day and a wonderful weekend.  We are getting rain here this morning so I'm going to take this opportunity to do some inside work and hopefully play in my craft room awhile.  We will talk soon!

Yes...the dies are wonderful...but without that amazing floral creation, they'd just be dies. That flower is shabbylicious! Love you!

I love your term "heavy lifting". These really are gorgeous dies, but, oh, that flower -- fabulous! We're having a rainy spring, but there's some beautiful weather in the forecast. Looking forward to that!

Ok you got me on this one Glenda. I am now kicking myself for not ordering this die set...lol This is just awesome. I love the layers. I read your comment the other day about how you love dies too. To bad you didn't live next door-we could save a bunch of money...lol
Bear Hugs,
Carol

Glenda, I gave up on my yard and roses long ago. I hired a lawn man who takes care of the lawn and hedges . . . the deer took care of my roses . . . . LOL! I miss gardening, but know it's impossible due to all the wildlife roaming the woods behind my home.

Your card is absolutely scrumptious! I'm so loving your gorgeous flower and the leaves are so shabby perfect, just love it!
