A Better look....

This is a card that was on my desk last Wednesday when I did the WOYWW party!  I just wanted to give you a better look at this one.  I just love the sweet image from G45 and the sentiment also and I handmade the flowers and dipped the centers in glitter.

I have been busy working on stripping wall paper from a bathroom and I've been down on my knees, not a bad thing and up on a ladder until this tired old body was screaming calf rope!  So I just sat for a whole day and looked at the wall and I could see the color I was wanting in my mind.  A sort of soft yellow very close to these yellow flowers.

Thus I have not been in my craft room much in the last several days.  Hoping I can finish up this week and have a wonderful fresh happy bathroom soon!

Oh, my goodness gracious! The flowers, the image, the paper -- gorgeous! This should be kept for an Easter decoration. I would certainly bring it out year after year and nestle it into a table arrangement or something. Beautiful cards like this can definitely be art for the home. Glenda, good luck with your bathroom. Think of it as an extra large card!

Oh Glenda this card is beautiful! The background paper is PERFECT and of course your flowers are TO DIE FOR GORGEOUS!!!
Stripping wallpaper (done it many a time in my day) is no fun ... hopefully there was a primer put on prior to it being put up! Which makes taking it down so much easier!! Don't over do it ... but how beautiful it will be once completed!! I just love REDOs!!
Hang in there!

Hi Glenda,

This card is just beautiful! Yellow is one of my favorite colors. As a matter of fact, I have three different shades of yellow in my house!

I have never had the honor (not) of stripping off wallpaper! Take it easy and try not to rush yourself. I can't wait to see what color you choose.

Thank you for stopping by my WOYWW post.
Hugs,
Kay
