WOYWW # 247

Good morning everyone and welcome to What's on Your Workdesk? Wednesday # 247.   If you are wondering about this madness, just hop over to Julia's blog and she has pages at the top of her blog giving you instructions and information.  Each Wednesday we take a picture of our work desk and blog about it and then link it to Julia's blog.  Then we can visit each other and see what we have going on. There are so many different interests and it's great to have a look around and see craft rooms and storage ideas.

There are assorted bottles of shimmery goodness, some homemade and some new ones from Lindy's Stamp Gang. I'm always happy to be able to get those; they are just a bit nicer than the one's you make but sometimes we have to save a few pennies and make our own.   A new tube of E6000 glue...some new Liquitex Matte Medium, and Liquitex Glazing Medium.  I'm getting ready to get inky fingers and then shine it all up!  The piece of card stock had little flower petals cut out of it.  My butterfly all spritzed up and glittered and ready to grace the front of a card.  So as you can see I'm getting ready to have some fun.  Also an empty glass that had iced tea in it.   So there you  have it...I've showed you mine now show us yours!

So I'm off to visit everyone.  Can't wait to see what you have going on!

You have lots of fun goodies to play with! I love E6000 glue, because it bonds almost anything. However, I don't think I've ever been able to finish a tube because the opening clogs and the tube often cracks. Do you have any suggestions as to how to best use it to avoid waste?

Oh, I love making the homemade spray paints! You know, it's funny, I took a Facebook test to see what character I would be from Downton, and I was Mary! I couldn't believe it, because I was without a doubt positive I would be Mrs. Patmore. Happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh #6

I see someone's about to get inky, and you have been playing with some Susan flowers. I can't wait to see what you make.

I'm not playing this week (so much to do, so little time) just wanted to stop in and say "hey girl".

I'm somewhat spray deficient-I like to be in control!
Still your desk inspires me to try try again!

are you going to spray those butterflies just like that on the table?
( I always make such a mess I've saved an old box with the flaps pushed in on it to put things to be sprayed into)

Looks like fun stuff there! I've really gotten hooked on glazing in my art journaling. I have 1 bottle of Lindy's (don't know what color) that I've never added water too. Thanks for showing yours to make me remember to get it out and see if I like it. I've heard good things about their sprays.

Hi Glenda,

Oh, I really wanted to see the glitter on the butterflies (and even made the photo larger) but couldn't quite see.

You are showing a fun desk this week. I noticed the glass and was wondering if it was a wine glass..... like you, I'm a tea drinker through and through.

Thank you for visiting me already!
Happy belated WOYWW

What a wonderful display of crafty goodness! The first time I used my E6000 glue it clogged up so hopelessly I had to throw it out. And I had such plans for it!
