Down For the Count and my Devil Dog!

I have been struggling for a week with lower back issues.  I'm beginning to come around but have not been able to sit at my craft desk until yesterday.  I'm behind on all my crafting projects and will have to play catch up in the next few days.  So.....I do not have a card to share with you this morning.  I do, however, have a picture of my devil dog to show you.

Just a sweet little dear with a moist little nose; who is badly in need of a groomer.

And then here is the true Bella...just completely full of herself and wide open from morning till night.  She is so much company for Maggie and me and we have grown to love her even if her eyes are red!  Devil dog.....or Sweetie Pie...the jury is still out!  We are slowly and surely learning the joys of grooming.  It is a battle each and every day that I cannot let her win as we start to brush and trim.  I do a little each day so she can get used to everything but she is a wiggle wart and is kind of straggly looking right now.  I have been introducing the clippers and she will let me clip the hair on the pads of her feet.  However, stay away from her ears and face.  A couple of days ago she was sitting so still while I placed the clippers against her head so she would get used to the noise and the vibration.  She was doing so well I thought I would clip at the base of her snout just between her eyes.  Just as I had the clippers positioned, she jerked right into the blades and cut a big old gap in her bangs.  So now we are waiting for that to grow out.

Well that does it for me this morning.  I'm sorry I didn't have a card to share with you, but come back on Wednesday and I will have a card I made for Heartfelt Creations.  As I slowly get back to being me, I will begin to post on my regular Monday, Wednesday, Friday routine again.

Don't worry about posting cards. We can all just look back through the million or so you've already posted if we need inspiration. Just get that back feeling better!
Love Bella--what a cutie!

Hope today brings you fun and laughter. When facebook had the Claim my blog thing, I worried it all was gone, but found you thru my search. Wouldn't that be a mess. You are well on your way to teaching a learning experience to your little Bella. Best Wishes for feeling better.

Hi Glenda,

Take it easy - I hope your back gets to feeling better soon. I, too, have been out of sorts for a while.

The pup looks adorable. My dogs have those same red eyes! tee hee

Hugs,
Kay

These sweeties are every bit as enjoyable as a card! Funny how grooming is such a struggle at first. You'd think they'd like it, but they always fight. I'm not sure either Wally or LuLu really like it even now, but they're at least cooperative. I know if one is getting groomed, the other one wants to be groomed, too.

I'm just catching up with my friends blogs, nearly a month behind, so I am fervently hoping that you are back in fine form by the time you read this. Take care.
