Heartfelt Creations Wednesday

Good morning everyone and welcome to Heartfelt Creations Wednesday!  This morning I want to share with you a card I made using the Sun Kissed Fleur Collection.  I just love how this card turned out and I hope you enjoy it too.

Heartfelt Creations Products Used:
HCDP1 231 Posy Patch Paper Collection
HCPC 3537 Sun Kissed Fleur Swirls PreCut Set
HCPC 3533 Sun Kissed Fleur PreCut Set
HCD 734 Sun Kissed Fleur Die

Other Supplies:  Spellbinders A2 Bracket Borders One, Ranger Distress Ink (Tattered Rose and Peeled Paint) Memento Ink in Rich Cocoa, Seam binding, Scor-Tape, gold beads, glue, Canson watercolor paper, Sizzix Swiss Dots embossing folder

Instructions:  Card Size 6” X 6”

Make card base and cut a piece of decorative paper to cover half and tape into place.  Next cut a piece of watercolor paper using the decorative edges of the die; adhere to card base.  Cut another piece of watercolor paper using decorative edge and run it through an embossing machine with the embossing folder.  Tie a ribbon around the bottom of this piece and make a bow and attach to the ribbon.  Tape this piece to the card base.  Stamp, color and fussy cut the floral image and adhere to the card base.  Next  stamp and cut out the flowers, shape and glue the beads to the centers.  Glue to the image  on the card base.

This is just gorgeous, Glenda! I love your use of the bracket border dies; they really set this card apart. Stunning project! Thank you for your kind comments on my projects. And steal or "borrow" away! You know they say that imitation is the best for form of flattery!

Your card is very beautiful and as I gazed at it a bit longer I am wondering how you embossed the die cut paper without getting the "dots" on to the beautiful edging made by the die? Thanks.

Oh, dear, this is utterly gorgeous, Glenda! You make these flowers look different every time. I like how you cut out the flowers so you could include all the little vine swirls. The die cut is a beautiful edging.
