Heartfelt Creations Floral Tag

Good morning everyone!  Friday has rolled around again and we are getting ready to jump into the weekend with both feet!  I hope you have a good one planned.

I'm here this morning to share a tag I made using the Sun Kissed Fleur Collection from Heartfelt Creations.   Those of you who know me, know I love making tags.  They are just little treasures that can be tucked down inside a gift bag or sometimes they become the gift itself!  If you would like a list of products used and the instructions for this tag, just go to the HC blog and have a look around.

Well I know this is short and sweet this morning, but the day is beginning and I want to be a part of it!  So no matter where you find yourself or what you happen to be doing today, take a moment for yourself and "Breathe"!

Heartfelt Creations Wednesday.......

Good morning everyone and please forgive me for being so late with my post.  Yesterday was a very busy day for me and then we had some pretty heavy thunderstorms moving through the area in the evening and I just did not get my post ready.  So here goes this morning.

Welcome to Heartfelt Creations Wednesday!  I'm so happy to get to share another project I have made using the new release for May, the Sun Kissed Fleur Collection.

I just love the flower stamps and die in this collection.  You get to stamp a bunch of flowers and then cut them all out in one sweep through the die cut machine!

Now if you would like a list of products used and the instructions for my card, just head over to the Heartfelt Creations blog and have a look around.  There is also a new video listed this morning about the Viva Decor Stamp Paint and I plan to go watch that first thing!  I have some of this paint ordered from the Heartfelt Creations Website and I can't wait to receive it and begin to play.  I have an idea this is going to be a wonderful addition to my flower making and you all know how I feel about flowers!

OK that is it for me this morning.  I hope you have a good day planned and that you get to spend time doing what you love!  Above all, take a moment just for you and "Breathe"!

Monday Morning........

Have you noticed all my pictures of Bella have been with me standing over her and she is having to look up.  The thing is, she never stops!  If I get on her level, which takes me a little bit, she is all over me.  I can't sit her up on anything because that is a recipe for disaster when I take my hand away to snap the picture.  I have to be truthful here......I really didn't realize what I was doing when I got this little one.  It's like having a two year old in the  house.  Those of you who have raised children know what I'm talking about.  If she can't find anything to get into.....she will torment Maggie.  Luckily I remember about tuning them out.  They can bark and growl and run and as long as neither one is screaming, I just keep on doing my own thing.  But she has wiggled  her way right into my heart and even Maggie has grown to love her.  Every morning first thing, Maggie makes Bella sit still long enough so she can wash Bella's face.  It's really quite funny to watch and to see Bella afterward with her little wet face.

If you were to pass any of my doors or windows you might hear me talking to my girls or just laughing out loud at something Bella has done.  She likes to run and slide on the hardwood floors and her favorite toy is a tiny baby sock purchased for an older dog that was sliding on the hardwood.

So I guess I'm saying that although Bella is quite a responsibility, I love her very much and my house would be way too quiet without her.  And I think if Maggie could talk she would tell you the same thing.  They are becoming quite good buddies and where you see one you see the other.  And to think I worried about the transition.

Well that is it for me this morning.  I hope you have a great Monday!  If you don't feel cheerful this morning just scroll back up and have another look at that face!  It makes me smile every time!

Good morning everyone!  I'm just running through to share with you a tag I made for Heartfelt Creations.

I love making tags and this one was a breeze to do.  If you would like to see a list of products used and the instructions for making this tag you can go to the HC blog and have a look around.

I know this is short and sweet but that gives you an opportunity to spend a little time on the HC blog.  I hope you have some wonderful plans for your weekend.  As for me, I'm hoping to get to play a little!  I love just spending time in my craft room.  Maybe it's the old lady in me, but I get lost in what I'm doing and suddenly hours have passed and Maggie and Bella are pressing me to move along and let them outside for a little while.  I guess that is one of the beautiful things about being retired....... you have time to do the things you love.

Heartfelt Creations Wednesday.......

Good morning everyone.  It is Wednesday and I get to share another project I did for Heartfelt Creations!  I always love visiting with you on Wednesday; it is a nice break for my middle of the week.

So this morning I have made a card using the Sun Kissed Fleur Collection.  I did a basket of flowers because this image just speaks to me right now.  I love flowers and things are beginning to bloom in my garden.  I actually have a plant blooming right now has blooms like these.  If you would like to have a list of the products I used to make this card and the instructions just head on over to the HC blog and have a look around.  I'm sure there will be lots of flowers on display over there and I just know you are going to see something that speaks to you as well.  All the designers have been very busy trying to show you how you can use these wonderful stamps and dies and papers from this collection.  Now if you would like to visit the designer's blogs just click on their names in the right hand side bar of this blog.  Go visit them and leave them a nice comment.  We all love hearing from you!

OK, that's it for me this morning!  The sun is going to shine here today and I must spend some time outside...lots of cleaning to be done after the winter.  I've been feeding plants and trimming shrubs and picking up and throwing away and rubbing and scrubbing.  It's OK....I love being outside and playing in the dirt!  I hope you get to do something you love today!

Monday Morning......

Good morning everyone!  I'm here this morning to share a little card I made using an image I colored with Ranger Distress Inks.

This made a clean and simple card that will mail easily.  Every once in awhile I just need to have one like this to mail quickly so I don't have to make a trip to the post office to pay the postage because it is too thick or because it needs to be hand cancelled.

Do you recognize the Heartfelt Creations sentiment?  It is from the HCPC 3532 Beautiful You Precut Set.  Did you also notice I didn't make a flower?   I must have been running a fever!

Well that does it for me this morning!  I hope your day is a good one and that no matter where you find yourself or what you are doing, you take a moment to "Breathe".

Happy Mother's Day.....

Good morning everyone!  Tomorrow is Mother's Day and to all you mothers out there....Have a wonderful day!  This is my mom.  She had a huge  hand in making me who I am today!  She kept me in church and on the straight and narrow and gave me my morals and values I live by today!

She was born in 1932; the youngest of 5 sisters.  Her dad passed from TB when she was very young and my grandmother had 5 children to raise on her own.  She did have the army pension since her husband was a disabled vet.   So they all scrimped and saved and did hand me downs to make ends meet.

My mom married and had me at 17.  I've always said, we grew up together. I am the oldest of 4 children.....3 girls and a boy.   She made playhouses and taught me how to make mud pies with daisy flowers on top; when I was a teenager she danced with me when I played records.  We were there for each other always!  She was quite a seamstress and made all  our clothes, and taught me how to sew as well.  Actually she was not afraid to try anything.  I've know her to build shelves and work on plumbing; she had a garden and canned food for the winter.  If something needed to be done she just did it.

Having three girls, she gave us many a Toni perm.  Do you remember those?  Man how we dreaded those...we'd be just as happy with straight, straggly hair...but not her.  So she would roll our hair and do the perms and then do the bobby pin curls.  Tie it all up in a scarf and sleep on it.  Sunday morning down would come those curls and oh my goodness; frizz city!  But she thought it was so pretty and would tell us how nice we looked.  I have many a photo of my brand new perm going to church or going to school for photo day!  I promised myself if I ever had a daughter I would never do that to her.  LOL...

Growing up we lived across the street from the First Baptist church and attended same.  On Mother's Day we all got a corsage to wear to church.    Rose bushes were all in bloom in early May so everyone wore a corsage of roses to church.  You wore red roses if your mother was still alive and white ones if your mother had passed.  My grandmother also had this very lacy fern that she would use behind the roses and tie it all with a pretty ribbon.  When we walked into church it always smelled so nice with all the corsages on the ladies.  Such wonderful memories!

So for all you mothers out there.....have a very happy Mother's Day and make a memory for your kids!

Sharing Another Heartfelt Creations Card.......

Good morning everyone.  I'm here to share another card I made for Heartfelt Creations using the Sun Kissed Fleur stamps, dies and papers.  I adore this month's collection and just know I will use these flowers over and over again.  For a list of the products used and the instructions for making this card, just pop over to the HC blog and have a look around.  All the designers put a lot of thought and love into their projects this week and I just know you will be inspired!

Well we are starting another weekend around here and rain is on the way again.  I have to admit I love having the time to play but find that I'm needing some sunlight to help my attitude!  When the sun shines I just get out doors and if nothing else just sit on the steps and soak up the rays for a little while.  We are all becoming a little damp around the edges here.

OK that does it for me this morning.  I hope you have a wonderful weekend planned and that where you are the sun is shining!

Lighthouse Tag.....

Good morning everyone!  I want to share a tag I made for Heartfelt Creations using the Balmy Breeze Collection.  This was so much fun to make and the image of the lighthouse was just perfect for my tag.  For a list of products used and the instructions for my tag you can go to the HC blog and everything is listed there.

So do you have a great weekend planned?  I want to spend more time in my craft room playing.  Seems most days, at least part of the day, that is where you can find me.  Our weather is warming here in East Tennessee and the outside chores are beginning, but I still try and find time to play.  I think we are expecting more rain this weekend, so if that is so, I can be indoors again.  I want to make flowers!  What better way to spend my time?

Well that is it for me this morning.  Hope your Friday moves quickly into the weekend and that you get to do something you love!

Wet Dog........

Yesterday was bath day and Bella still just doesn't grasp that bath time is a soothing time and to be enjoyed.  She is afraid of the sink, the water, the soap and the spin cycle.  Just kidding!  But everything is new to her yet and she is not a happy camper once the ritual begins.  Maggie enjoys the warm water and the cream rinse that helps with her brushing.

I just think she is the cutest thing!  She is now coming up on 4 months old and still only 2 1/2 pounds.  I'm not sure she is going to make it to 5-6 lbs.  I think she is just too tiny but she was the runt of the litter.

She looks a little insulted here but she is really enjoying the sunshine coming through the door.  Well I just thought you would enjoy these pictures and you can see how really tiny she is.  She is just like Maggie with the attitude and she has manners like my dear Abby.  I think Abby would approve!

Well that's it for me this morning.  Hope your day is a good one and remember to take a moment and breathe in.....breathe out.....breathe in.....breathe out!
