A Few Family Photos and a Great Holiday....

Good morning fellow bloggers...just a couple of pictures of my July 4th Holiday....I so seldom get pictures taken of me but, me and the boys happens even less seldom.  The first picture is of me and my grandson Spencer.  He is 14 and standing over me as you can see.  I'm the white headed one in case you were wondering.  I finally gave up my 40 year love affair with the bottle...hair color bottle in case you were wondering.  I just decided it is time...It is what it is.    The second picture is with all three boys.  The other two are Chandler and Ethan, my SIL's sons.  Ethan is the midget in front.  I call him that because he is only 10 next month and still a shrimp.  I never thought I'd see the day when these boys would be taller than me.  Well actually I did, just not so soon.  Spencer is 14....Chandler is 15.  Such great young men and I love them all!

My 4th of July was spent lazing away the afternoon with my family and enjoying pizza, homemade cookies and homemade ice cream to celebrate my daughters birthday which is today!  Happy birthday sweetie!  Big wave from your Mama!!  I hope you all had a great 4th. of July and was able to spend it with family and friends.
Check back tomorrow as I have a card to share with you using the cameo I made.  See you then!

Your hair is beautiful. I quit the bottle about 3 yrs ago..don't have as much body, but sun will turn it a little blondie hoping to get a summer cut this week. I really need some "ME" time.
Still very HOT here and we have lots of company visiting here and there, so off to pick up the house.Youngins always like to visit here to see the farm animals, ride the tractors and be amazed at the country!!! Enjoy

It looks like you had a perfect 4th of July! It's scary when the kids start getting taller than you. I have a few years to go still with mine, but I can remember teaching 6th grade and finding that a few of them were already bigger than I was.
You look truly fantastic, and it's inspiring me to stop dying my grey roots!

Great photos! I'm so glad you shared them. I gave up the bottle a while back, too. It has taken quite some time for all the color to grow out, but I love it now. No fuss, no muss, and the color always looks natural, even in the sunshine. Your 4th sounds wonderful.
