Faith Is...

I made this card for Heartfelt Creations and I just love the sentiment.  I wanted something really washed out against the white on white background.  So I stamped my flower petals and used a light pink embossing powder then I used a pink color wash to go over the flower before I shaped the petals.  I cut out the leaves and did the same color wash on them so they would be as light as the flowers.  I sort of like the look....everything is pale and then you have the sentiment in black.  If you would like all the items I used and the instructions, just go to the Heartfelt Creations blog and you can get all the details.

Well it is Friday again and I'm not sure where the week went.  I've had additional chores this week with all the Spring clean up.  Everything is in bloom and it is beginning to be beautiful outdoors, if you can breathe for all the pollen.  Being an allergy sufferer I have to limit my time outdoors and wonder if I will ever get things back into place after the winter months.  And of course the grass is jumping ... we are mowing like crazy just trying to keep up.  Spring has definitely sprung around here but I'm not sure it will last.  All the old farmers in the area are saying to be prepared for a Spring freeze, that it is too warm for this time of the year.  After all, it is still only March!

Well thanks for stopping by this morning.  I hope you have a good day and a wonderful weekend; and that you have some time to be creative!

Loving your flowers Glenda, they make such a luxurious card. Pretty colours too. Here in Scotland we too are enjoying a really warm and sunny spell of weather, very unusual for March. Enjoy your Day. Hugs Rita xxx

Such a Lovely verse and your flowers are very pertty! You just have the touch for making beautiful flowers!
It's been in the 80's here in Fl and like you everything is blooming and the pollon is so thick.... How thick is it you ask?? Will the Oak pods are over an inch thick each moring on the drive. We sweep, blow, and rack it each day but know it will be back tomarrow... I don't know about the saying "Love is in the air". All we have is Yellow dust here!

Gorgeous..love the very softness and the die cut layer is so pretty. Of course those flowers are special. My DH's dad is 95, his sister 100 and they said they have NEVER seen temps and lawns being mowed in March in Iowa. Scary. Enjoy the weekend.
