Hope you hade a wonderful and safe holiday.......

I just love the 4th of July and all the fun involved!  But today it is time to get back to the grind.  First I want to wish my daughter a Happy Birthday!  The year she came into our lives I awoke on the 4th of July ready to do family get togethers, but it was pouring rain.  I got out of bed and my water broke!  We spent the whole day in the hospital and at 3:23 the following morning Tracie came into our lives!  Happy Birthday sweetie!

I also want to share another birthday card I made for one of my grandsons.  I'm way ahead of the game now...this birthday isn't until August!  I'm so proud of myself.

I colored my image with distress Inks and used glitter glue on his wings.  This card is for the youngest of my grandsons.  They are all growing up fast and soon these kinds of cards just won't do.  But I have had so much fun with them over the years.  Instead of boyish cards, now I will have to do manly cards.  With the passing of this birthday, I step into the world of squeaking voices and looking up at these guys instead of down at tow headed boys...sniff!  The oldest will be 15 in October and gets his driving permit!  So glad that is someone else's chore.  My nerves wouldn't tolerate a teenage driver!

Well this is about it for me this morning.  Come on back tomorrow and we will share a cup of coffee and my card for Heartfelt Creations Wednesday!

Wonderful card, Glenda! Such another beautiful card for a grandson. they grow up so fast, but just think, now you will be able to do cards with junk cars, motorcycles or maybe even sports! How fun! Just kidding. Happy Birthday to your daughter. and to you hugs for the day!

What a sweet, sweet card, Glenda! I just love the image and your coloring. Gosh, having grandchildren means you have to watch your babies grow up twice. Good and bad to that, I guess. Happy birthday to your daughter!
