Happy Weekend.....

What do you know, I woke up this morning and it is the weekend!  Happy days!  This shouldn't mean so much to me, being that I no longer work outside the home, but I still love them just the same!

Guess what!  My dear husband purchased a light tent for me to be able to take better photo's!!!  I've been struggling with getting enough light ,without going outside, to take a good picture.  Well we will see if this makes a difference for me.  I will take pictures when I get it situated and show you what we got!  I'm so excited and can't wait to begin using it!

This morning I want to share another card with you...

I made this card using Heartfelt Creations Stamps (HCPC 3391 Bold Bella Rose PreCut Set).  This stamp would also do well with the technique where you stamp on black with white craft ink and then use pencils to color the rose and petals....hmm , I should have thought of that before!

What do you have planned for the weekend?  I will just be hanging out in my craft room...my husband has to work today.  It is supposed to be hot, hot, hot again so I don't spend much time outside.  Yesterday I spent a little time trimming some small tree limbs the neighbor was letting grow up through our fence and I hauled it to the street for pick-up.  I was dripping by the time I finished.  So I came back inside & hit the shower again...how many showers a day is too many?

Well I'm off to get the day started.  Hope you have a wonderful creative day!  No matter what you are doing, take a moment and "Breathe"!

Love the Blue on blue rose... very pretty and pleasing to the eye. With the corners and bow for just another touch is perfect. Would love to see the black with white craft ink.... !

This is a beautiful card. I love the way you used your dies. They always make a card look fabulous. It is so hot here too with no relief in sight. We have 3 hours of baseball. Have a great weekend.

Just caught up on a full 2 weeks worth of your amazing projects! Too much on the go lately!
Enjoy that light tent. I think your photos are just great anyway, but if it makes things easier, why the heck not?! Hope you're surviving those sweltering temperatures! We're jumping from sun to rain to thunder and back to sun again around here, but my husband's home now, so I can't complain. The temps are pleasant at least!
Have a great weekend!!

Oh Glenda, this is truly beautiful. Love all the layers. I feel the same about weekends. Kinda free!! It was special time when we worked and it is embedded deep into our brain!
Good Luck with the Light Box. Blogger comments..uncheck the Sign in Box..
Hot, Humid and now Mesquito's, went out early to water flowers as we had high winds all day yesterday, but hurried quickly to get done.
Weekends..mass on Sat nights then off to the races. Enjoy.

Love the color tones on this!
I got a light tent for Mother's Day....LOVE it, if only for the fact that I don't have to try and balance large sheets of paper to take a somewhat decent picture! I still havent' figured out the best angles, but I think it has improved my card photos somewhat!! (I refuse to think that my photography skills may be the problem!! Hahaa)

Your card is beautiful, Glenda! I love the colors and the framed flower. It is hot and humid here as well. I melt every time I go out. I watched the French Open Womens Tennis final this AM. Had lunch with my son and dil(in town for the day) and daughter, then watched baseball this afternoon (my head still hurts) and crafted tonight! Fun day! Hugs and happy sunday to you.

I can't wait to see how you like your light box. Been thinking about getting one, but not sure. I always seem to be able to see the beauty in your cards and projects, though. Goodness, they might look TOO good with all that light on them! Today's card is wonderful with the tone on tone embossing and pretty corners.

This is so pretty...wow! We need to trade a bit of each other's weather...my poor cucumbers are all yellow from all the rain!
