Tea Time....

Good morning everyone!  It's Friday and we are going into the Memorial Day Weekend.  I hope you have wonderful plans and lots of time off work.    As for me, I plan to do some chores today and then spend some time with my husband and of course make a little time for crafting.  We have been having some terrible storms here and he is working on a tree that fell on a house.  Fortunate for us the storms have skipped over us and gone on to other neighborhoods.  We had a little hail and lots of rain and wind but  no damage here.

My card this morning is using Heartfelt Creations Stamps.  I stamped and colored using Ranger Distress Inks then I cut out and did my card.  The stamp is HCPC 3393 Tea With Bella PreCut Set. My card base is Canson Watercolor Paper.  It is thick and rigid and makes a great base card.  I added a layer of Burgundy card stock and a layer of coordinating paper and secured them together.  Attach the cut out image to a Spellbinders Labels 6 cut out of the same Burgundy card stock and secure that to the card.  Next I cut pieces of ribbon and glued them to the corners...tie a bow and attach to one of the corners and then attach everything to the base and it is ready to go.

Now I am off to get my second cup of coffee...you know me, I just gotta have it!  I hope your day is a  beautiful one and that Mother Nature smiles on us for awhile!  Remember, life is short, take a little time to Breathe!

Supplies:
HCPC 3393 Tea With Bella PreCut Set
Spellbinders Labels 6, Ranger Distress Inks, Offray Ribbon, Scor-Tape, Zip Dry Glue, Canson Watercolor Paper, Memento Rich Cocoa Ink

Beautiful card, Glenda! Love those images. I have been hoping the storms were being good to you, such devastation. The rain would be good here, thoug. It will be over 100 again today and yes I am melting outside. My skin will be whithered from showering so much! Have a wonderful Friday my friend!

Oh, Glenda! So pretty! I love how you used the Nestie with it. Good to hear you've escaped damage in this awful weather. Hoping for better days ahead. Enjoy your weekend!

Very beautiful Glenda. That is the perfect die cut to put under the cup. Your coloring is fantastic. I always worry about you when I see storms are going through your area. So happy to hear you are safe.
