Update on Maggie.....

As you can plainly see, I'm still not being creative!  I seem to be in a slump.  Maggie is continuing to improve, but not quite up to snuff just yet.  I'm continuing to give her aspirin as she still has a goose egg on her right shoulder.  It is getting smaller, but she is still sleeping quite a bit.  Now at her age, she does sleep a lot anyway, but there is a difference here.  Maggie's number one fun game is ball and she tries, but just does not have it in her.  Last night she ran after it 4 times and then just gave up.  Each day it is a little more.  She still brings her ball to play but seems to tucker out quickly.  I'm hoping this will get better soon.

Until she is over this, I just can't seem to focus on crafts!  I continue to watch and wait.  Life is just in the way right now.  So hang in there with me.  I have not run away, just hanging out  waiting on my little one to get back to normal!

HI Glenda,

I hope your little one will be back to her old self very soon!! It hurts us when our sweeties are sick, doesn't it? A few week ago one of my doggies had to have a dental cleaning, but it almost went wrong with the anesthesia....I was soooo glad I did get her back alive that day. Love my dogs very much, just like you do!

hugs, Elly

Hi Glenda, I hope Maggie will be back to her usual self soon. It is hard to concentrate on anything when someone you love is struggling. I missed your picture of the messy work area! Hugs for you and your furry friend!

Just caught myself up on the whole saga. Glad she's slowly improving, poor thing. And poor you! I'm not surprised you can't focus on crafts--I wouldn't be able to either! My girl dog sometimes reacts mildly to shots, but she just swells up in the face, no feeling ill or anything. And it always goes back down with benadryl. It actually seems to have gotten better as she's gotten older, so maybe they build up a resistance?? No idea really, but I hope you never have to go through this again. It sounds positively terrifying!

It's hard to have Mojo when something or someone is bothering you. I hope your dear Maggie improves and her old self real soon. Pat

Don't worry about us...we'll still be here. Just focus on your little pal and get her all better. Life does get in the way of creating...but sometimes I think it is to remind us as to what is REALLY important!
