ALTERED TIN....

Here is a picture of my altered  nut tin.  I love all things altered, but don't seem to do very much of it.  I just washed out the tin and used my new BasicGrey Cappella Paper as a base.  Black ribbon went on top and bottom.  Then I used two rows of this lace....I think it is so elegant looking.  The plastic lid was edged in black ribbon and I cut circles out of black card stock with Spellbinders Dies.  Then a circle out of the Cappella Paper set on a scallop circle from Spellbinders.  On each scallop of the circle, I glued a little pearl.  For the center medallion on the top I made a paper rose out of the paper and spritzed it with glimmer mist.  I'm loving this little box!  I hope you enjoy it too!

Oh, my, isn't this gorgeous! It's a far cry from the nut tin it started out as. I find those plastic lids difficult, but you did a beautiful job. Such a treasure!
